The house is located in the mountains in a quiet neighborhood. Hiking trails and beautiful beaches are nearby. Francis also offered a hiking tour that’s been amazing. Friendly and helpful host. We highly recommend this place !

We are two English speaking Americans who stayed with Francis and Sandra for a week long honeymoon adventure. Francis and Sandra were outstanding to stay with! They were kind, honest, supremely patient with our inability to speak more than a word or two of French, and above and beyond helpful! The accommodations. The pictures barely do this place justice. They are beautiful, clean, and perfectly minimalist! Other visitors mention Francis's rules, but they were very few and focused on maintaining the high quality of the cabins. We did not find them burdensome, nor did they interfere with our enjoyment of the space. In short, they are not a problem at all! The cabins are inviting and cozy, yet at the same time they seamlessly invite you to be outside. We had numerous avian friends greet us on our patio every morning for breakfast. Our only snag came when we realized that we forgot to get an power converter for our American electronics. When we asked Sandra where we could buy one, she instead went out and bought one for us! Making sure to get us a good "local" price for it. This is more than just a place to lay your head, however. Francis made clear that he was there to be our local expert, making sure that we had a planned adventure everyday. He helped us download an offline map system on our phone and would plug in specific points of interest, including a secluded beach and a waterfall. Our everyday explorations of the island would not have been half as fun without Francis' help! We highly recommend visiting Francis and Sandra! We hope to return to their beautiful place as soon as we can!…

We had a wonderful stay at Francis and Sandra. The cottage is cozy, with a stunning view over the tropical forest. It is a very calm place where you can observe colibris when having breakfast on the terrace, just read a book and relax. Francis and Sandra are great hosts who will give you many useful information and tips about the islands. And when you feel like you need some adrenaline, Francis can take you on an unforgettable expedition.

We recently spent 22 beautiful days and nights at Domaine du Piton Bellevue, in one of the lovely gîtes. The property is wonderful and a bird and butterfly lovers paradise. The kitchen, dining and lounge area are open to the forest on a covered veranda, affording endless views of lush and colorful vegetation frequented by several species of bird and butterfly including numerous hummingbirds. The gîtes are beautiful and well-appointed. As such, we were able to cook many meals in the comfort of home. Francis and Sandra are fantastic hosts and are generous in sharing local knowledge and assisting guests. We went on two trekking adventures guided by Francis to places that are unfindable to all tourists and I imagine even some locals. These treks were magical. Francis shared his knowledge of local vegetation, wildlife and history while we hiked. Each adventure included plenty of jumping into beautiful emerald, sapphire or turquoise colored pools carved into the landscape by waterfalls. If you have the opportunity and are physically fit, you should go on these adventures. Be prepared to laugh, get a little dirty and wet and be amazed by the breath-taking beauty.
