Great bed and breakfast pub. Lovely atmosphere - very friendly staff. Food lovely. Stayed 3 nights as walking Offas Duke. Whenever we walked back into the pub we were assured a warm welcome. Club castle is just down the road.

As friends came to stay we decided to go for a drink somewhere close that we could walk to. We arrived at 6.30 and had a lovely couple of hours chewing the fat with the bar staff. We decided to move into the other room so the team could set up for the open mike night that was due to...

We booked two rooms three days before we arrived. Everything clean and tidy and rooms were ideal for us. Food in the pub was tasty and well presented and the local beer was excellent. In between landlords on our visit but everyone was very friendly and helpful. Some southern pubs could take a leaf out of their book on how...

We stayed here on a cycling holiday. Weather was grotty on the day we arrived and the licensee had stuck the heating on in our room because he thought we might be cold and wet....... what a star.... good man. The room was fine, clean and tidy, we had the place to ourself and slept very well. The beer here...

We were showed our room No 3 in the annexe near the car park it was off a musty smelling corridor and it was tiny with dated decoration and fixtures. The bathroom was adequate but I struggled in the small shower cubicle there was sufficient hot water, towels, and shampoo etc. Three days in the room was difficult especially when...

Very clean & comfortable room. Only minor niggles there wasn't hot water in the bathroom sink and the bed was a bit soft for my liking. Host & staff all friendly and helpful, food delicious and the local beer heavenly.

Recently had a fantastic long weekend beak in Shropshire. We stayed at The Sun Inn – Clun. What gem of a place to stay. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. We booked the studio “Granary Room”. A well-furnished double ensuite room with its own living room. It was clean, tidy and very comfortable. We eat in the restaurant that...

Charming old inn, in a lovey village location. Friendly staff, log fires and wonderful (and reasonably priced) home cooked food served with care and attention to the individual needs of the customer. The village whilst small has much to offer the visitor. Throughly recommend a visit.

We stayed here just one night en route from Land's End to John O'Groat's cycling to raise funds for brain tumour research. The rooms in the separate building at the back of the pub were clean and fine although a little smal - but ok for a short stay. The landlord was very helpful and stored our bikes. Also let...

We passed through Clun at the end of our Offa's Dyke walk. It's a lovely pub, with good beer and good food and friendly staff. The B&B room was in a separate block next door, quiet and nice, with tea & coffee facilities. Breakfast was hearty. Would definitely stay here again.
