Stayed two nights, this hotel is located in a small palm grove. The only bad point in this hotel is the restauration, a took the breakfast which was served without any local specialty. The service was helpful and friendly.
It was a really good choice, in the middle of the desert and palms. I could not imagine a better place especially when it was as hot as between 45-50 degrees, it felt cool there. With a pool I really had for myself when we were the only guests apart from 2 days. Not many people in the middle of the summer are traveling to the Sahara. I also liked being alone there, feeling really relaxing. Quiet and calm. Had a neighbor a falcon there too. We have stayed there 3 full days, 4 nights and I regret that we did not stay one day more instead of going back to Algiers. The wifi worked well too, though sometimes there was connection for the whole Ghardaia out. However, the breakfast could be better, there was some yogurt and cheese, but day after day it was less and finally not even yogurt, just bread, jam and crossaint that I'm not so fond of having to breakfast. We also got a dinner there, but it was a little bit expensive, I can say, 2000, - per person was too much. Too bad we did not get any Algerian specialty, just turkey or meat, but that was good anyway. The man who took care of the place has also arranged a guide for us to begin with, because I thought Ghardaia was like a maze, but after two days we stopped using him and went for our self and found good for all the interesting places. The guide was not so happy of course, but I do not like to have a guide, like to explore and explore places myself and as soon as I can, I want to get rid of them. Everyone there was really helpful and despite we could not one single word in French all was going good in any case.…
Stayed two nights, outside temperatures around 5 at night. It is away from everything down a dirt road but you can walk into town. They claimed that I had to take taxi for security reasons, so I did so. Room is nice but a little run down - light not working at bed, shower curtain almost falling down etc. Warm water and heating working. Quiet at night. WiFi working. Breakfast nothing special but early so you can reach the plane at 8.15. Pool cold in winter. A bit expensive.
I stayed at this hotel for four nights. The hotel is on the outskirts of Beni Isguen. It is possible to walk into town. Although staff seems to be a hit indifferent, they get the job done. Room is big, with a big bathroom. I always had warm water in the bathroom. Rooms have air-conditioning, and also have an extra heater, if needed. In-room tv, which I did not watch. Wifi is relatively good. Breakfast is basic: coffee/tea/juice, bread, cheese, dates, yogurt, jam, honey etc. It is not a luxury hotel, but very good value for money. I can reccomend this hotel.
The place was clean, it is full of date palm trees, it has a swimming pool. Every room has an air con, a TV with cable channels, and a fridge. In summer, water coming out of pipes is warm. Beware. Accessing the resort is not easy as there is no tarmac for almost 700m in the neighbourhood. The breakfast was so-so. We expected something better but since we were the only one staying there maybe they didn't make the effort of preparing something nice. They cooked dinner once and it smelled very good. The only place I would suggest to anyone visiting Ghardaïa.
This was our favorite hotel during our ten days in Algeria. But it is not for everyone. The rooms are simple, but lovely. There is a pool to beat the heat and the AC is perfect. You are also away from it all. The road to the hotel is rather slapdash and the hotel is set in a palm grove. The service was fantastic. However, if you want to be in the heart of things, the hotel is not in Ghardaia proper. You will have to have transport to the city. It also means that you are reliant on the restaurant. We had one fab meal, one satisfactory and one poor meal. The problem is that they try to cook "Western food" - and it is a dismal failure. When they cook Algerian food, it's two thumbs up. But each night has a single dish. No alcohol. And the staff only understood French and Arabic, except for the wonderful woman who ran the reception. Highly recommended - but know what to expect before you book.…
If you're looking for more comfort and luxury in Ghardaia, Hotel Two Towers is the place to be. Very friendly service, nice and clean rooms in a calm environment. Although we liked our stay in this hotel, we found the price for dinner in the evening very expensive if you compare it with the prices you pay in the city in the restaurants. (+/- 15 euro in Two Towers). A big plus for this hotel is the taxiservice. The week we stayed in Ghardaia the same chauffeur with his car was at our disposability. If you're searching for a more authentic stay in a typical house of Ghardaia I would recommend Enteg. You won't find any luxury at all, but we liked our stay even more in this typical hotel than in Two Towers. This small hotel is situated next to hotel Two Towers and managed by a very friendly and hospitable manager!…
Except bad road connection to Ghardaia and airport, this hotel has very nice swimming pool, restaurant and garden. Hotel staff is very kind and helpful. Food is very tasty and restaurant is very clean and comfortable with an authentic Arabic dining room.
I checked out this hotel when I arranged in Gharadaia having already been to countless very small and stuff hotels. This hotel was only 1 month old when I visited it and is a little bit further out from the centre of Gharadaia, but with it comes the charm of the windy roads and Gharadaia countryside. The hotel provided rooms with full bathrooms (i.e. A bath tub, not just a shower unit) which is a bit of a differentiator from the other places I saw in Gharadaia. There is a nice, but not very large, swimming pool under the palm trees. Unfortunately the pool was not operational when I went as the hotel had only just opened. The grounds and the rooms were very clean, spotless in fact (although I did expected it given the age of the place!). This place is a fair bit more expensive than other places I stayed in Gharadaia, but if you are something a bit more luxurious than the standard accommodation you might find, then this could be a good option for you.…
