We weren't expecting much but it was actually pretty good when all considered. Reasonably priced, clean, friendly staff ... would stay there again when next in town. The only real problem was that it's on a corner but since the town rolls up after 5 o'clock it really didn't matter.

My co-worker and I occasionally travel from Toronto to Chapleau because we have several business contacts in the area. And every time we visit, we've always been treated to such warm and genuine hospitality. The rooms have everything one could reasonably expect (clean bathroom, fridge, microwave, reliable heaters for winters, nice flat screen televisions, etc.) and at an even more...

Very clean and well kept exterior. Customer service good. Couple that owns it trying to update rooms with new flat screens, remodelled bathrooms, fridge and microwaves. Beds give you a decent nights rest. The town of Chapleau itself is beautiful with lots to do. 5 minute walk to the beautiful lake trails. Definately would stay at this motel again. Thanks...

Hotel was clean, very basic and dated however the room had a VERY strong odour of cigarette smoke. Despite the non-smoking signs everywhere the hotel provided a large ashtray, so obviously they allow smoking. This room is fine if you are a rough and tough contractor bedding down for night after a long shift, but not for anything else. We...

After a long day's ride (820 km) on our motorcycles we were just looking for a good sleep. The lady at the desk was helpful and nice. The room was well maintained but dated, the shower just so-so. The motel was well used by railway and utility workers. Nice guys who kept a supply of beer in their trucks. We...

The hostess was friendly. The room had been upgraded but was crowded with furniture etc. It had a very nice flat screen TV. Really, pretty nice for the location and price.
