Minuses: Staff struggles to understand simple questions. Free wifi only in lobby (huh?) Beds are pretty hard. Breakfast buffet no included (20% off) Pluses: View is fabulous- love hearing the ocean Wood fired pizza was excellent. Great location on the beach. Transfer from airport was great.

This hotel is in a great location on the beach, and everything is rite out your front door. Initially they did not give us the room we paid for, but after much back and forth they finally....all of a sudden had a beach front room( they had told us they were booked for the month) None the less we had...

What a beautiful hotel. Rooms are excellent and so so quiet. Sheets and towels are changed everyday. Breakfast is good and staff are very helpful. Would definitely stop again. They fumigate for mosquitos every Wednesday. No mozzy bites for me... Would definitely stay here again.

Spending a whole week there was a great decision. The hotel has nice rooms and a really good shower. The breakfast has an interesting variety of food for you to choose. The restaurant usually has live music, calm and really appropriate for the moment. Recommend it!

My husband and I stayed here for a week at the beginning of February. As others say the setting is wonderful being right on the beach. We had a second floor Oceanfront Junior Suite which gave us great views across the bay and of the lovely sunsets. Outside the hotel there are many restaurants for lunch and dinner. Also, as...

What a great location but resort in need of major upgrade. Rooms are very average, breakfasts are so so, pool is cold despite being in the full sun Great ocean views from balcony but don't expect much else.

Dear Sean-Adelaide, Thank you for your comments. We are happy that you loved our location. In terms of renovation, we are slowly renovating the rooms and public areas. It is quite difficult to close down the hotel because we are mostly full for the whole year. Hoping you will come back and experience our resort and services soon. Best regards,...

Kata Beach Resort directly fronts onto the beach on the bay with a beautiful scenic outlook. it is also right in the centre of kata Beach town, and is an easy walk to many good and chehap restaurants and bars The breakfast was OK, the room was huge and clean, but the hotel was devoid of atmosphere..... there were a...

Overall the hotel is clean with great facilities and the most amazing view of Kata beach. However there were a few cons; no free wifi, the pool is very over crowded and people fight over pool chairs. The hotel Manager was very helpful and with great recommendations for dinner, however most other staff are unfriendly.

Sadly this is a hotel that rests on its laurels. The hotel will continue to be busy because of its prime location but this is all that it has going for it. The environment is akin to a poorly run cruise ship. The staff didn't care if you enjoyed your stay or not. Worst of all is our room had...

The good points are the great location, the food and the quite good service at the outside restaurantand that's it i have to say. The bad points are the receptionist that doesn't understand basically nothing of english (i mean,...
