We are on our way to start our holiday from Canberra to Surfers Paradise (Gold-Coast, Qld). On the way to GC we planned to stop at Newcastle. My wife have booked at the Newcastle Height motel for a while back and paid for using our credit card. However they could find it in their system. Rather than we decide to...

A group of friends and I went to stay here for a weekend to go to a music festival. The staff were lovely and welcoming, attending to any questions we asked and checking whether we were happy with the facilities/cleanliness of the rooms. Before we left for the festival they bought us uno cards and came down to ask if...

Avoid at all costs. Not only did they take money a week prior and confirm booking but when we arrived after long day travel we were turned away as they claimed did not have our booking. We were the third group turned away. Very dissapointed. We followed up and are getting our payment back but after an hour or arguing...

Stayed in the family unit. Everything was dated and disgusting. There was even snot marks on the wall and what looked like blood finger marks on the wall. The bunk beds were all loose and one was missing a top railing. The carpet wasnt even held down it was lifting everywhere! place defiantly needs updating!!!

My wife and I stayed at this Motel back in February this year as part of an extended driving trip up the Pacific Highway. The room was comfortable for a three star place, the staff and owner were very friendly. You can have breakfast on the premises, however we preferred to drive the few minutes to the magnificent Charlestown Shopping...

I will preface this by saying that we are generally not fussy about our hotel or motel rooms being new or anything overly flash. We look for rooms that are functional and clean for a good price. Newcastle Heights was the absolute worst motel we have ever stayed in. It is old and run down and needs a lot of...

We stayed at Newcastle Heights Motel the weekend of April 24-25. I booked a family unit/upstairs-downstairs configuration. When we arrived, we were told the room wasn't available because they had crisis families in because of the storms. We were shown another entirely unsuitable room and when I insisted on the room we'd booked, I obviously got management offside. I got...

We do a lot of travelling and this is by far the worst two bedroom apartment we've come across for a steep rate of $200. Nothing like the photos. Bathroom door hanging off and an electrical hazard waiting to happen. The noise coming through the windows that the curtains aren't even wide enough to cover is enough to keep anyone...
