We stayed there over the weekend for a minibreak. We hadn't booked a seaview room but were pleasantly suprised to find we had a beautiful one looking over Runswick bay. The room was lovely and big, with plenty of space. For the price we paid we thought it was really good value. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast...

Stayed for 2 nights leaving the 22nd April. This is a lovely hotel with a fantastic staff. My husband has a food allergy and the chef did everything to avoid him being poorly. We were in room 4 and the view of the bay was stunning. The rooms are very clean and have everything you need. Again thanks to the...

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for two nights just before Easter. The room is fantastic with a massive bed and outside balcony with stunning views over the cliff. There is nothing whatsoever I can fault with the room it was superb. The rest of the hotel is a tiny bit dated but it shows a lot of character and...

My partner & I ate here following pre-dinner drinks. The dining area is clean and well laid out with a beautiful view over the bay. If you have a dog you would eat in the bar area, but this feels to be part of the dining room rather than being sat in the bar. We had two courses from the...

Would recommend this place and will go back again but keep in mind it is a very quiet location with little around it within walking distance but the beach was amazing even worth the oxygen you...

We stayed here end of March for a weekend away for two couples. This was a gem of a find, views were stunning. Hotel had been taken over and the new owners are trying their best to update a tired beauty of a hotel to a more modern place, some of the rooms are a bit tired but each have...

3 star hotel with 5 star standards. Deluxe room exceptional. Welcome outstanding. Food most acceptable. Location very special. Organised yet relaxed. We really enjoyed our visit and must return soon. Beech walks and easy access to Staithes were a comfortable visit.

Where to start, we had a balcony room, plenty of space and very clean - stunning views across Runswick Bay and to wake up to a beautiful sunrise from your bed - wow! Breakfast was a perfect start to the day, help yourself and order freshly cooked breakfast from a menu choice. Food was excellent, good selection and plenty of...
