Great service. The staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was pleasant and comfortable and looked out over the gardens. However it was quite dark due to some heavy dark furniture. Lovely peaceful location and the breakfasts were stunning with home made breads and jams and marmalade. We would stay here again. It was exceptional

Upon arrival we had a very warm welcome from Mandy, who, throughout our stay, was helpful, friendly and made us feel very much at home. Our room was clean and comfortable with quality soft furnishings and bedding (Dorma). In fact, the photos on the website don't do the rooms justice, they were much nicer in real life! Dogs are very...

We stayed here for two nights. We'd never been to a dog friendly hotel before and I was worried it might be grubby and smelly. Nothing could be further from that at The Firs. We got a warm welcome. Our room was large and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was modern and appeared to have been recently r furbished. All staff...
