Had a great room, the food was perfect and the staff very friendly, the restaurant is nice and bright and opens onto the garden, had a nice moment spent being pampered by a very helpful young lady in the spa, would love to go back again, soon.

Relais du Silence hotels are noted for their peace and quiet. This place is no exception. With this establishment however, the reviews of the hotel and restaurant CANNOT be combined. As all reviews have said, it has been very well renovated recently, in a modern style, with the de rigeur swimming pool. When we visited it was not very well...

After arriving on our bikes, we could not believe our luck. What a gem. Recently modernised the owners have done a great job. As an owner of 5 star hotels , I can truly say this is a great property. The spa was just what the doctor ordered after cycling in 30c plus all day. Then the meal just superb....

We stayed for two days on a cycling holiday as a group of eight. I had been concerned by some of the earlier reviews. Pleasingly this was ill founded. Our stay was excellent. Madame was hospitable, charming and very knowledgeable. The food in the restaurant was first class. The rooms in the new upgraded portion of the hotel (luxe and...

this was our 3rd visit and we arrived with high expectations particularly looking forward to the food..we were greeted with the news that we had not reserved a table for dinner and the restaurant was full. It seems that if you book this hotel with one of the internet booking services, you are not automatically allocated a diinner reservation. A...

This was the second time we had stayed, the first being a few years ago when we were blown away by the high standard of food on offer from the well respected chef. We arrived to a new-look aubiniere with spa and redesigned restaurant. Our room was adequate with only a shower and we could hear the people upstairs moving...

We stayed in L'aubiniere for 5 nights and have a most wonderfull time. Our room was cool and spacious and quiet. The food is really delicious and well worth the price. You need a car to stay here for several days but there is plenty of places to go and Wine to taste, so we recommend at least a coupple...

I doubt that many will plan a vacation around the small village of St-Ouen-Les-Vignes.Not much happens there, but it does contain a nice little hotel with an excellent restaurant, providing of course you can find L'Aubiniere as it's not immediately apparent as you drive along the main road through the village. Once you do find the hotel, you'll discover rooms...

My husband and I had a real shock when after we had booked this Hotel online (and supposedly for a deal! It still cost more than 100Euros!) during Easter break (all the other Hotels in nearby Amboise were packed), we drive out of Amboise to find out first of all it is in the middle of nowhere....the small village it...

“Don't be surprised if you book one of the cheaper rooms and then find you haven't got one of the 'nice' rooms shown on the hotel's website - the sort of investment L'Aubiniere has made in the new spa suite/wing means rooms in the new part will be at the top-end of the advertised price range.”
