The Moulin Bregeon was by far the highlight of our trip. The mill is the perfect example of comfort and charm. Did I mention the line dried french bed linens? I was in heaven. And the soap!!! I cant say enough about Pascal and the brilliant French meals served. We had duck confit with hariocot vert freshly picked just hours... More

I was one of Jonathan and Pascal's first guests. Before they finished the original mill building, a couple I was traveling with and I stayed in the house that was originally their apartment. They couldn't have been more gracious, interesting, and accommodating hosts. It also happened to be over the 9/11/11 time period, so it was an interesting time to... More

I've travelled quite a bit and this was by far the most wonderful experience I've ever had. Le Moulin Brégeon exceeded all my expectations. The bucolic countryside greets you as you drive up to the beautifully restored Mill, complete with a bubbling stream, chicken, geese and cows in the pasture......you are literally transport in time. The Moulin "Family'' (Jonathan, Bernard,... More

We stayed a Le Moulin-Bregeon in August, 2013, having purchased a 6-night “Art Trek” package offered by the hotel in partnership with Gail Barnett, dba Time Out to Travel. The travel brochure distributed by Time Out to Travel promised “an elegant retreat” with “beautifully appointed luxury accommodations adorned with fine art and regional antiques” and “daily painting lessons.” The hotel’s... The pictures I saw online of Le Moulin Bregeon did not do enough to prepare me for the experience of this charming place. It’s like living out a magazine layout of the most beautiful French country house with all the details in place; the organic garden with a stick fence to keep the wandering chickens out, a brook that runs... You can stay at the Moulin and do as much or as little as you like. It is a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere combined with excellent food and wine. We also heard that some famous celebrities have stayed there – but we won’t mention any names! For us the “all-inclusive” package including cooking classes and guided tours was ideal. We... More
