My grandson and I stayed here for 3 marvelous nights. Barbara, the owner, was most helpful in pointing us to local sights and providing all that we needed but truthfully, we most enjoyed spending time on this beautiful spot in the El Yunque National Forest. Truly a slice of heaven!

I stayed at this amazing property for two days with my mom. The host, Barbara, is warm and welcoming. The property itself is stunningly beautiful, and Barbara was able to offer great tips on where to hike. We had a flat tire while there, and her staff fixed it for us! We thought they were going to just put our...

We stayed for two nights in la cabana. The property itself is stunning and beautifully maintained. The cabin is charming and cosy. The fridge was stocked with fresh fruit and muffins and there was a coffee maker with coffee supplied as well as a bottle of wine. The atmosphere was truly calming and peaceful. That being said, there were a...

When our family travels we look for opportunities to truly experience different cultures and environments. Casa Picaflores provided an enchanting immersion into the lush and thriving El Yunque rain forest. In El Bohio we enjoyed the natural air conditioning and enchanting sounds of the forest. El Bohio has a full kitchen where we cooked dinner in both nights of our...

We had a wonderful one-night stay at the Casita Zumbador at Casa Picaflores. Barbara was a great host and has created an amazing, calming oasis in the foothills of El Yunque. We will definitely be back someday, hopefully for a longer stay!

My husband and I stayed at Casa Picaflores after a 12 day sailing trip through the BVI. We were there over Thanksgiving and upon returning home I promised Barbara I would write a review which has taken me a while to do because I can find no words which adequately describe the experience. I will do my best but this...

I arrived at Casa Picaflores with a two day booking commitment thinking that I would stay at different places while traveling around Puerto Rico during my 8 day trip. However, I ended up staying the full seven nights. I was looking for something more local than a Hilton or Marriott experience but didn't want to stay in someone's home or...

The moment you drive through the gates of Casa Picaflores, a beautiful and peaceful ambience settles around you. The vegetation is varied, colorful and lush. As much as I loved hiking offsite with Robin in the El Yunque Rain Forest, there was a part of me that wanted to stay on Barbara's land. She has painstakingly nursed this land back...

Amazing stay...this place will reset you with its magic. Beautiful, extremely well maintained property not far at all from restaurants, beaches, grocery stores and shops. Barbara is an amazing person and very knowledgeable about the area. Lots to do and see...or perfect to just relax and regroup, the perfect location for whatever you are looking for. We can't wait to...

Barbara is a lovely, wonderful soul. The property is lush, inviting, and off the beaten path. A wonderful rain forest experience and only 15mins from Humacao where there are plenty of store and restaurants etc. The villa has a full kitchen and patio with a full size table and grill to enjoy your evenings. A MUST VISIT
