My wife and I stayed here for two nights and we absolutely loved it. Mind you it is called an Ecolodge, so don't expect the touristy Marriott setup. You will have wifi at the main area where breakfast (which consists of fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, and much more) is served. There is also a very long lasting supply of hot...

This is a great place if you want to just relax. We only stayed here two nights, but a number of others stayed a lot longer. The facility and rooms were somewhat basic, but generally clean and very comfortable. We stayed in room five (as the previous reviewer). We found out that we could actually turn off the outside light...

The other reviews sum this place up pretty well - the accommodations are fine, but the setting is the reason to visit here. We loved the view from our room - nothing but trees and waterfalls. The night air was cool and there is a ceiling fan to keep the room comfortable. The singing frogs and rushing waterfalls provided a...

We visited Casa Cubuy in July, and we very much enjoyed our stay. The Ecolodge is a simple, spacious place in a beautiful location. From the broad patio that serves as a living room, you can gaze down into the valley or off into the mountains, listening to the birds and the coqui. Our room was large, had a queen...

Don't come for the creature comforts. Don't come for the service, they are nice but service isn't going to be the motivating reason to come. And if you want 5 Star, don't come. So why come? Nature. The AMAZING serenity of being away from it all. You are at the edge of the El Yunque National Park. The view from...

This is a very simple property with barely any amenities. A room and a view. And what a view! Sliders opened to a balcony and the view of the rainforest. We slept with the doors open all night. The owners are a mother and son team - they seem a tad exhausted - but are very gracious and full of...

Casa Cubuy is owned by Margaret and Matthew. Mother and Son team. Amazing breakfasts served. Matthew is full of all kinds of knowledge and is happy to help with info about where to go and what to do. They even cooked up some shrimp that my son caught in the beautiful falls. Matthew was kind enough to offer a mask...

I could have spent a week here, laying in the hammocks, doing yoga on the patio, hiking in the rainforest, swimming in the waterfalls, then laying down to fall alseep surrounded by coqui frogs. The minute we arrived at this little treasure, I knew I found a place of peace. Sliders on every room, so the whole room could be...

I arrived here with my parents late in the evening with no idea what to expect. On first sight it does not seem like much, but when you go outside on the balcony and take your first look at the views, the appeal is easy to understand. It is extremely peaceful, the lodge staff and other guests were all friendly,...

I came here for a wedding. This place was quaint and beautiful. I will say it is simple. So if you are used to people waiting on you and air conditioning it might not before you. The views are amazing. The rooms are nice. I stayed in Room 6 at the main building. It had a hammock in it. There...
