Diabolical. 1 pillow each for two people, stains covering the sofa, bed was essentially two sofas pushed together and was not comfy at all. To top it all off they then decided to charge our card a further £120 for no reason whatsoever. Trying to contact them in regards to this was like pulling teeth, fortunately the bank were quick to chargeback this disgusting action. Shameful and highly recommend everybody avoids this sorry excuse of a hotel.

Facing a long journey to Aberdeen we thought it would be a good idea to start our journey the evening before and to stop overnight near the M6, ready for an early start. We put the postcode into the sat nav and were directed to a housing estate! On check in I was asked to put my debit card into the card reader, I asked why as I had already paid, and was told it was to prove my identity. I 've never heard of this being done , no money was taken from the card.Basic room, fixtures and fittings looked tired but clean, bathroom especially needs a refurb, cracks in the sink and a dripping tap, also the toilet cistern took ages to refill. The bed was comfortable, but the walls are thin and we were disturbed by our neighbours, I don't know what time it was but they were either in late or up very early, so didn't really get a good nights sleep. Don't think I would stay there again.

Absolutely great sleep, in a comfortable room. Check-in was simple, fast and stress free. Fast WiFi, nice modern TV. I stayed here before an early ferry from Birkenhead to Belfast, took only half an hour to get to the ferry. Will definitely be staying again when I next do the journey. All Covid secure and very well adapted for the current situation.

Days Inn is the favourite brand of ours, offering good value for money and good locations. Sadly on one of my visits, the room was incredibly damp, being at the end of the corridor. Waking with a bit of a sore throat as a result. Sometimes in this brand, the over powering smell of dog is an added feature, due to welcoming our four legged friends. A separate stay proved that not all the rooms were like this, and were very much to the standard of the brand. I am reasonably uncomfortable with having to handover authority documents to prove that I am indeed a key worker during these times, but it is what it is – it's to be noted that in the second wave – most hotels are not doing this check – and why would somebody be wanting to come on holiday here anyways. Front of house-perfectly friendly, all is good here

Thank you for your review. I am so happy you enjoyed your stay. As for handing over the documents to prove you are a key worker this was a government requirement which we had to follow. I will certainly pass on your comments to the team. Thanks for letting us know.

All basic needs met. Slightly tired decor, though cannot grumble for the price. A couple of stray hairs which was worrying as everything was 'covid safe' and compliant. Wider service area okay. Was perfect for a reasonable overnight stay with work. I would book again.
