The views are awesome, the sunrises and sunsets spectacular, the tents are comfortable and clean.( no fridge or Wifi) The staff were friendly and helpful and I really enjoyed the hands on cooking class. A cosy lounge, a lawn for games and a fantastic vibe. You have no alternative but to eat and drink every meal there. If you want...

We drove to the hotel from Colombo and wow the last 10km stretch is a real challenge with a rough broken road and room for only 1 vehicle to go thru. Fortunately on the way to the hotel no vehicles came down the road but when we were departing had a difficult time with a few on coming tuk tuks....

This eco lodge was everything we hoped for. The food was great, service and staff were outstanding, and the setting unbelievably beautiful and restful. One of the highlights of our two days there was a hike with their naturalist, Indika. He was extremely knowledgable and a wonderful guide for my wife and I and he gave us a really great...

Very beautiful place to spend a few days. Peaceful and serene. the accomodation and the restaurant are breathtaking and the service is perfect - waiters and staff not hovering around for tips which we found frustrating in other sri lankan hotels. the resort is a good hour 30mins drive into the mountains from Kandy and is a steep single track...

Wow, this retreat is truly incredible: from the breathtaking panoramic mountain and tea plantation views from your bed(!), your breakfast table, or the pool; to the way they have embraced sustainability in their solar heating, biogas, compost, and organic garden; to the warmth, attentiveness and friendliness of the staff. We only had 24 hours, and after a few tiny hiccups...

Spent five nights here and found it truly mesmerising. Being up in the mountains with the views of the sunrise from your bed out the tent doors is wonderful! The staff are very friendly and always on hand to help! It's nice being in the tea plantations and seeing the village people picking tea. I went on a four hour...

We spent 2 nights in this hotel. The rooms are in tents overlooking the Knuckles mountains. The view is superb. The food at the restaurant was fine. A great place to hike around ( we took a half day hike in the tea fields and the views were beautiful). This place may not be well-suited for young children as there...

This place is very special and a highlight of our 4 week tour. We loved the experience of staying on the tea plantation and feeling pampered by the staff. The tent rooms are quite unique and laying in bed looking out over the mountains and tea plantations is something never to be forgotten. Only draw back if it's windy at...

This place a paradise away from the bustle of Lauanbajo. It's sustainable values make it very special - it's one of the view hotels that believe in looking after the planet AND their guests! The large, lush grounds are stunning; the beach front loungers are the perfect place to watch sunsets from this part of the world, and their non-chlorinated...

Incredible setting high up in the mountain range, a fun experience to be sleeping in tents (which were well appointed inside and very comfortable) listening to the natural world outside, wonderfully friendly and helpful staff and great food in the restaurant. The downside for us was the noise. The (loud) music from the local temple traveling up the valley between...
