My wife and I stayed for at Le Relais de Ventenac for five nights. Overall the building and rooms are excellent very spacious and light. We were disappointed to find that there were no restaurants in the village, so we had to drive each evening to eat. The air condition unit would not work in our bedroom. This was reported...

Hello Thankyou for taking the time to review our B+B we are sorry if certain aspects were not up to our normal standards we try and correct them in the quickest time possible unfortunatly the situation with the air conditioning took longer than we would have liked being over the weekend and then the bank holiday. We decided to stay in the Relais because we were hoping to exchange contracts on a house in the village. Gayle could not have been more helpful from restaurant recommendations to furniture shops she was a fountain of local knowledge. When she could not find a taxi for us to the lovely L'Ambrosie Michelin starred restaurant Gayle not only took...

We came across this accommodation unexpectedly on our recent cycle tour. It was like stepping into something from grand designs. The welcome could not have been better and we enjoyed our stay enormously. Everything was perfect. We would recommend it to anybody.

A gem. A peaceful and comfortable B&B with spacious and modern accommodation. The building was modernised about 10 - 15 years ago, and is fitted out to a very high quality. The hosts, Gayle and Frederick gave us a warm welcome. Gayle being English meant we did not get to practice our French, but she could not have been more...

Our second visit to the area but first to the B&B. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed exploring the towns nearby. We especially like Montolieu with its bookshops, art galleries and quirkiness. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a delightful view over the garden and pool. The pool was a good size for a dip any time of...

Gayle and Frederick have created a stylish and comfortable haven in Ventenac. From an 19th century wine store and stables the Morvans have conjured a 5 roomed B & B with high quality fittings and furnishings. A good place to base yourself for the Carcassone region.

We chose Le Relais de Ventenac for our long weekend to Carcassone and we were delighted with our stay. It is ideally situated 15 minutes drive from the old town but has a rural feel to it being in a small village surrounded by vines. Gayle and Frederic made us feel very welcome from start to finish and could not...

After a brief flight from Bournemouth airport, Gayle met us in Carcassonne a short drive followed through vineyards and a small town, we then arrived at Relais de Ventenac. The entrance greets you to stables on the right (being converted) and a large enticing pool, the entrance hall is simply stunning, with beautifully stone walls and glass balustrade stair well,...
