We really liked this charming hotel in the towns of Sava and Manduria in the province of Taranto. Excellent service, beautiful pool, good food. We will stay there again in the future! Highly recommend!
This hotel is amazing. The people are very kind and the the hotel itself is really beautiful. The pool is big and the nature is very beautiful. The food and wine are delicious and the service is great. The hotel rooms are normal sized, the balcony is very big with a nice chairs and the shower is great! It is possible to WhatsApp with them and they answer fast. It felt like a day in paradise so I would recommend it to others! See their website for the photos!
This hotel is a full time wedding venue and has beautiful grounds. We weren’t advised of the implications of this being a wedding venue before we booked. The hotel should not be allowed to take bookings for rooms if the people aren’t attending the wedding as we were unable to use the facilities of the hotel or the swimming pool when there was a wedding at the hotel. Each day we were there, there was a wedding! What were we meant to do to entertain ourselves? Manduria is a practically a ghost town! One day we could use the pool until 6pm (we were sat amongst tables and chairs that were going out for the wedding) when we were charged a ‘deposit’ of €10 for each towel - we were a small party so we needed 8 towels - when we returned them in perfect condition we were only given back €5 for each towel. The staff were lovely but with limited English. One night we made the mistake of booking the restaurant - we were the only 8 people in the dining room - the food was vile and expensive - €272 with no alcohol - eight small starter salads, eight antipasti, four main courses and two deserts - freezer food for a main course and frozen tiramisu! A couple in our party were given ‘garden’ type rooms - ‘mosquito alley’ we renamed it! They were bitten to pieces with no precautions (mosquito nets or ‘plug ins) in place! I certainly wouldn’t return and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone!…
