Alpine Lodge was perfect cheap place to stay in Namche Bazar. It is on top of hill so view in morning over Namche is fantastic. Food was delicious - especially the egg curry and Sherpa stew. Tenzing the manager speaks perfect English and is extremely helpful.

Rooms were clean with hot shower. Best place in Namche. Owner Tenzing was very responsive to our needs. His wife, also Tenzing, is an excellent cook. Only place in Khumbu where I dared eat meat!! Loved sitting on the deck during afternoons to sun

Fabulous stay, but not more expensive than other. Wonderful with a sauna, extra cost 2500NPR, after two weeks in the mountains. Fantastic food for normal price. Rooms in the higher normal span of local standard.

This was by far the best lodge we stayed at on our Gokyo Ri trek. We stayed here on the way up and on the way down the valley. The room, like most lodges, was fairly basic - two single beds - but was comfortable and with a great view across Namche. Food was fab - yes they make western...

We stayed at Alpine Lodge on the way up and down on our trek to Everest Base Camp. The staff were like family and the meals were like home. Our room was at the end of the hall on the second floor. Yes, it meant a few more stairs, but everything is 'up' in the Himalaya. The room had two...

I would recommend this place to anyone on a budget or who wants to pay more for a room with a shower. They have everything that is needed. I especially loved the food in this hotel. I wished we stayed a bit longer, for the food.

My son and I stayed at the Alpine late October 2013 on our way down. It was one of the most comfortable and clean places we encounted during our 23 day independent trek. It was great being in the 'dress circle' of Namche, providing panorama of the town from the terrace and the dining room. The food was excellent, the...

My husband and I stayed here one night toward the end of our trek in October, and it was my favorite. Good location, excellent hospitality, clean, comfortable and warm beds, and warm showers! Never underestimate the value of a warm shower on a trek. Our stay there was so pleasant. I highly recommend staying here.

I highly recommend the Alpine Lodge in Namche. It is clean, comfortable, warm, has Western toilets and some rooms even have showers. The views from many of the rooms and the Kitchen/Dining area are stunning. The service and food are great. The owner, Tenzing, is very interesting to get to know and very helpful. It has all the comforts you'd...

Tenjing, man and wife, give this place a warm and kosy athmosphere, and are very forewardcomming. The food are superb, and its warm, do to good isolasjon and windows to the...
