We spent a romantic mini holiday at Fiskars Wärdshus and were quite pleased with the stay. The couple that manages the place clearly loves their guesthouse and cares for the experience of its guests. The breakfast was lovely with yoghurt placed in glass jars with home-made jam. The supplement building where our room was located had no rustic charm as it had been built pretty recently, but the room was tidy and comfortable, and we slept really well. The food at the restaurant was very good, and the staff was very friendly. And all in the middle of the lovely Fiskars village - I couldn't have asked for more!

We were two couples visiting Fiskars Wärdshus and were accomodated in the newer building. It had the style of the old building but all the modern amenities. All of us has visited Fiskars with the interesting shops and beautiful surrounding, but we had visited the restaurant only for lunch, never for dinner. We had an absolutely great dinner and service (knoweldgeable and funny) and I slept as a baby after that. Both the dinner and the hotel are highly recommended,

The house dates back to 1836 but has been redone and lately redecorated by the owner with a lot of help from Sari Vannas which makes the place oddly comforting and relaxing. The beds have some kind of memory mattresses which at first felt very hard, but were actually extremely nice - might get similar to my own bed! The place is clean, has lots of space even if from the outset looks smallish. There are only a few rooms in the restaurant building and more in the "new" one. Please do use the sauna, too, it is very good and cost us two only € 30.oo. The purpose of our trip was to get off for a night, but we ended up having our snack, dinner (as planned), breakfast (as planned) and lunch in the restaurant, it was that good! After the trip we felt happy, relaxed and almost as if we

Nice dishes and local beer, good tastes and ok service, but very expensive. Almost 30e for a fish maincourse, and no vegetarian option. Not many options in Fiskars village though, i think this is the best option. Nice and clean decoration also.
