Great place with private access to the lake just after walking down through the nice garden. We stayed in the little bungalow just at the entrance which has no view on the lake but was still great as we had our own little place with a small stove. But - honestly - Pedro is an amazing chef, so no need...

Relaxing place on the lake that has it's own little dock. We're meant to stay two days but stayed 5. So chilled out, we didn't want to leave! The host is genuinely nice and took excellent care of us, even drove us to the city to to get food and the taxi out. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and...

We originally booked for 2 nights and extended for an extra 2. Pedro and Yolanda were such beautiful people, and really made our stay memorable. We had issues with our bank cards, and the couple were so kind to us. Firstly, Yolanda met us at the bus, and then waited with us for 3 hours whilst we struggled with an...

We stayed for two nights at Casa aq ab al (the Venus apartment) and absolutely loved it. The apartment (!) is huge compared to any hotel room, with views of the lagoon and everything you need to cook your own food. You'll need a rental to get to the place and to be able to drive into town (10 min...

We cannot say anything but wonderful things about this jewel of a place. Please note that it is located at Kilometer marker about 28.5 and down a gravel/dirt road but is directly on the lagoon. There are only 4 rooms so there is plenty of space for guests. We stayed at La Estrella casita. The owner is an exceptional chef...

after 1,5 km of a very bad road (but you can do it safely) you reach this place that makes you feel you're far from everything we stayed at Venus which is really a large place. as we travelled with our two kids we appreciated there is water, a hammoc, nice decoration that makes you feel welcome it provides a...

My husband and I stayed here for two nights, and wished we could have stayed for at least a week. The location on the lake is beautiful and the garden is very well kept. There is a perfect spot by the lake to sunbathe or laze on the hammocks. There is a suspended bed under shade by the water too...

We loved our few nights at Casa Aqabal. Unfortunately it was raining for most of the time, but even then it was beautiful. Yolanda and Pedro are awesome. Pedro cooks the food, if you request breakfast and dinners and it was some of the best food we had. He also makes a great frozen margarita! The location is right on...

I live north of Tulum and often go down to renew my plates on my american car and pay taxes. This place is priced very well and is nice, quite and clean with warm water ;-). It includes fantastic breakfast made by the owner himself ! They brought it to our room with juice, fruit and fantastic coffee. I am...
