Hi, our b&b has been completely renovated in 2012/2013 and has 4 comfortable rooms all with private bathroom and independent entrance. Stayed at B&B del Centro for a week for son's football camp and me commuting with Bergamo/Milan in the morning. Perfect location, house is cozy, clean, quiet and functional, Betty a wonderful host, breakfast very good. Surroundings of Clusone great for walks for all levels.

- The hostess changed the 'breakfast time', to the time we preferred.
- The hostess requested a quotation (in Italian) for a taxi. Then later after we accepted the quotation, she ordered the taxi.
Really fenomimally kind people. They are there you need them, but leave you alone don't.

This small B&B is located right in the middle of Clusone, a charming, hilly town with the oldest Dance of Death fresco in Italy, which is well worth the effort to climb up to the wall of the basilica where it is located. Be sure to also go into the door to the left to see the little chapel, too. The B&B is run by a brother, his sister, and his wife, and they are very pleasant and helpful. The wife speaks good English but was away when we were there, but we got on fine with the brother and sister. The room is smallish but nice, and the breakfast items were very good and filling. There is limited parking in front, which must be vacated by 10 a.m., but we were literally guided by the sister to free public parking the next morning.

Again staying at the b&b del centro was a treat. The room was splendid as was the bathroom. Breakfast is delicious and compleet. Staying there is like being at home; relaxed and warm. Clusone is a nice little city to stay. The mountains (skiing!) are about half an hour away and the city of Bergamo about 45 minutes.

A year + establishment aptly managed by a sister-brother team in the heart of this small, but quaint and interesting town. A great place to unwind after visiting the nearby mountains and valleys. The breakfasts are a feast of local charcuterie and excellent pastries with additional home bake cakes by the kind mother of the owners. The place is spotless and the service is expert and friendly. You feel part of the family instantly! A place to return. Five stars from me!

B & B Del Centro in Clusone After arriving in Milan, our tour group first stayed in Clusone on our 12-day tour of Italy’s Lakes Region. At first my wife and I felt a bit slighted because the group filled up all vacancies at the Hotel Locanda Antica and we were assigned to “a B & B”. As it turned out, we got a lucky break. We landed in a new building that fit in well with the old ones around it. Natural wood floors and ceilings, a good bed, everything spotlessly clean. Three floors, take the stairs or elevator. Our suite was on the third floor and contained a kitchenette: a stove, dishes, etc. We never used it, but it seemed serviceable. A window with 1-foot “balcony” overlooks the red tile roofs of Clusone. A large skylight in the bedroom comes with a remote-controlled shade. Good closet space. The living room contained a TV, sofa, small table and two chairs. The bathroom with shower was clean, fairly roomy, and well equipped. All this was very nice, but our hostess, Franca, provided the warmest welcome, the best service, and excellent help with finding nearby restaurants for a couple who spoke no Italian beyond “Bounjourno” and the like. The breakfasts at Del Centro are fantastic! We had our choices of fruit, cereals, yogurts, a variety or croissants from a local bakery, 3 or 4 Italian meats including perfectly-sliced prosciutto, speck and salami, and one or two local cheeses--all of the best quality. In addition we had fruit tortas and cakes made by Franca and by her mother, a retired professional baker. A feast for the eyes and appetite every morning. Franca’s sister was everywhere to help. A Keurig-style coffee maker with a variety of style rounded out our breakfast. These breakfasts, our suite, and Franca, made Del Centro the best of the four hotels, some very grand, that we stayed at in Italy.
