We stayed there for 2 nights and we can highly recommend the boutique spa hotel, relaxing atmosphere, excellent food and very pleasant staff, suitable for couples or even friends' weekend, very quiet and intimate vibe
We came for the spa package . We started with a nice breakfast but I was expecting an amazing meal and it was nothing special. The orange juice was not fresh and Nespresso machine didn’t work. The major problem was that there was no designated rooms to change clothes or shower or lockers to store things. We walked around with our bags like a homeless person. The wonderful heated pool with a great view of Jerusalem was great but stepping out of the water you were struck by the cold wind of the Judaea hills. The spa was not indoor but outside. With only two treatment rooms in a small building. It would be easy to enclose the pool jacuzzi and sauna when it gets cold. There was a shower in the treatment room but because there was another treatment scheduled we couldn’t shower. .The massage itself was the best thing so be sure to ask for Lisa. In conclusion a little thought by the management about the needs of the patron and create a great spa. They have all the ingredients.…
My husband and I spend 3 nights at the Gordonia hotel and it was a big disappointment. The food was average minus. It was not a private chef level at all. There was not enough variety, the food wasn’t fresh and not tasty. The room was ok but not more than that. It was 4 cold days and there was no alternative to spend the time other in the room or in the little salon. The spa therapist was spectacular but the all experience was not professional. They scheduled my therapy at one area of the hotel that was under construction and I had to move to another area of the spa. There was a miscommunication between the manager and the therapist about the location of the therapy. The gym was small and includes only 2 running machines.
Hotel Gordonia is a splendid hotel in Jerusalem area with nice spa, wanderful food and top service. There is free wifi and parking. I've enjoyed a lot the night swimming in the pool, with the lights of the towns around. The price is not cheap, but it worth it. Thanks for a great experience!
Amazing hotel, the service was perfect both check in and in the meals , the food was delicious and fresh ( we didn’t feel this was Friday night - although it was kosher ) various options for every one ( vegan , gluten free and etc ) we sure will come back in the future.
Nice hotel pretending to be a luxury / private hotel... Service is problematic.. Food is OK but not gourmet or chef level food.. Overall there's a gap between the expectations and marketing image of the hotel and the actual experience which is very average
We stayed 2 nights , 2 rooms with private pool just for us with a great view of the surrounding hills of Jerusalem, service was exceptional from the hosts to waiters to house keeping, prompt fast and super pleasant, thank you to all Gordonia crew for making our vacation special. Ronit and family
We were invited by the management of the Gordonia hotel try out the new suites. We were the first guest in this suites and they wore absolute amazing the size is around 37 Square feet Amenities inside the suite we’re so luxurious and so welcoming the bed was huge the bath in the shower or separated by a glass window air condition was extremely highly powered we also had dinner and breakfast in the diary kitchen this is all diary hotel you can get free nonalcoholic drinks as much as you want and you can get also wines for free the food was delicious all to all the experience was amazing and the new suites are superb
I made the reservation thinking that because of the location, the re would be places to sit and read in the grounds, open a window in the room .breathe the air. Upon arrival I was the only l person checking in . 4 members of staff told me to sit down because thats their system of checking in. it took over 20 minutes noone offered me a glass of water. Room was beautiful but cold 17c the lobby where all the meals and 'action' took place i was informed was so cold and was heavily perfumed with scent to which I'm very sensitive. There was a fault in the suite. Loud noise which a kind staff member repaired. Noone apologized. I finally checked out and noone would pay attention until I stood waiting for a manager. The service was appaulig. If you want to breathe, you want to enjoy the air and not be locked into a cold perfumed environment go somewhere else. I found it pretentious, and as a world traveller who stays at the best hotels only advise stay away.…
