My wife and I staid here just one night but we will definitely come back next year. The hosts Simon and Christina are warm and engaging and the quality of the dinner absolutely amazing. Loved our bedroom too, slept previously and woke up to a view of the old trees that surround the house. Heaven.

If you want to step back in time to a gracious Georgian manor home that has been lovingly maintained by the original family, and partake in the landscape of a working farm and it's surroundings, with minimal intrusions from the 21st century, this is a great spot. It is not haute luxe but there are enough creature comforts to make... More

This is a magnificent house set in beautiful surroundings - We arrived about 5 in the afternoon having travelled all day we were astonished to be asked to choose our dinner the moment we walked through the door. There were only two meals on offer - My husband was allergic to one and therefore had no choice at all. Dinner... More

An enjoyable, relaxing overnight stay with delicious food at dinner and breakfast. Simon, the host, was pleasant and helpful in every way. A very memorable stay on our way to Westport, Connemara and beyond.

Came here with parents overnight after a perfect day in Sligo/Leitrim. The hosts were superbly friendly and the whole experience was luxurious. I nearly dognapped the hotel pooch Juno! Can't wait to go back.

The house is set in the country side and is filled with antiques; you feel like you stepped back in time. The breakfasts are delicious. Almost everything is home... More

This Georgian country house is situated down a long driveway of woods and green fields where sheep and deer are farmed, very much in the country but only 15 minutes drive to Sligo and other places. The very imposing building is surrounded by well tended gardens including a large vegetable plot where a lot of the cooking supplies come from.... More

Coopershill House is a gorgeous place, furnished exquisitely with original antiques and family portraits of the ancestors of the present day owners, the O'Hara family. The bedrooms are beautifully furnished and very comfortable, with modern day luxuries. Breakfast and dinner are a delight. All of the meals are perfectly prepared and outstanding good. Simon O'Hara couldn't have been more helpful... More

My blood pressure literally just went down as I started to type this. What a treat this property is! The house itself is gorgeous, luxurious and well-maintained. I would have taken the bed home with me if I could -- excellent sleep! Simon O'Hara and his family (including young Finn -- MAGnetMAN!) and staff made our welcome feel personal and... More

We stayed here for two nights on our fantastic Wild Atlantic Way trip from Galway to Donegal. This was our third stop on our way up north and we absolutely loved Coopershill!! Simon and his family have created a perfect country house hotel. Lots of history but with all mod cons! Our room was beautiful. Great shower and a bath.... More
