Overall we loved our holiday and want to return next year. But we did have some frustrations. Our first night in B3 they forgot to give us bedding for a 3rd person, so was quite uncomfortable all in twin beds sharing 2 pillows. We asked for bedding the next morning and had to chase up later that night when it hadn’t arrived. The snow was great but it is difficult to get from one side of the mountain to the other as you have a choice of a super steep button lift or a steep walk up the road. We’d probably manage if it was just us adults but a 4 year old just couldn’t do it so had to drag her up the road in a sledge. Exhausting. This was the same route from the shop too. Nights 6 and 7 we returned from dinner to a smoke filled room. Rushed over to the hotel reception that said they would call maintenance. After 30 mins I walked back over to the reception who said maintenance guy was 2 hours away so wouldn’t be coming but said to close the vents aver the hob and the chimney - which didn’t actually help. Turns out all the chimneys are connected so the wood burner from the apartment upstairs fills our room (and next doors) with smoke. The view from the room was great and the kitchen was well equipped.…
A fantastic apartment, modern, comfortable, spacious and well located. This was the first time our had stayed outside the Alps for a skiing holiday, the accommodation was to a high standard, and the power showers, sauna and drying cupboard were an added bonus, there is also a ski locker located in the building block. You can ski from and back to the apartment which is great, the only downside being for non skiers as it is quite a walk down the hill to the supermarket and back and there did not seem to be a frequent bus service to take you if you didn't want to walk.
We stayed as a family of four with two young kids and the accommodation was perfect. Everything has been considered. From your own external locker for skis and snowboards, to a drying cupboard, certainly the most modern accommodation we’ve had on a ski trip. The ground floor apartment we had was a single large room with open plan seating area with TV, table double bed and bunk beds. Along with a fitted kitchen and loads of cupboard/wardrobe space. It also had a bathroom with large bath & shower, plus a sauna. Location is superb as it’s right on the family slope, but above where the piste splits to go to the main ski lift area. Only downside really is that the best means of getting back from the main lift area is a horribly steep button lift which no one was using during our stay & as a snowboarder I avoided. Route back from the bottom of the family slope is a much more friendly t-bar. At night, it is just a walk across the car park to the Colorado bar although if you don’t mind walking back up the hill, the hittu bar is just down the road or family piste. The base of the family slope has a shelter with fire where you can cook sausages bought from the supermarket at the base of the resort (which is back towards the base of the family slip from the main lift area). And next to the family slope is the fun park, with jumps, rails and fun boxes.…
