We stayed for two nights in July and the experience was beyond expectations. The igloos were of course special as such but also everything related such as interior and dishes were very high quality Finnish design, special mention about the motorized high class beds! Altogether very detailed luxury accommodation held by super nice couple! 😊
One of the best places I’ve stayed. Love the scandinavian design interiors. Awesome bed. Really peaceful & quiet. If you’re in Pyhä to ski or snowboard, this is the perfect location. Would definitely come back.
The host, Art was so friendly and approachable; even made an effort to explain every single detail of the room to make sure we are well looked after despite just a one night stay. Extremely loved the cosy house which is warm and offers a nice scenery with the glass ceiling. It is also within short walking distance to the Pyha Luosto National Park.
Regardless of my late arrival, I was well settled with a warm greeting and detailed introduction by friendly staff. It is an absolutely stylish Igloo with elegant and smart design. A clothes drying hood gave much convenience. The breakfast is a great gift. You may taste reindeer meat in the material provided. You must love to stay on bed looking at the sky and scenery through the glass roof. It will surprise you with its adjustment function. Really, the whole area surrounding the Igloos is peaceful which allows you to enjoy every moment.
Came here with my partner during the low season (Oct'19). We were the only ones around - very quiet. Lovely customer service, attentive to everything & with perfect English. Haven't tried breakfast/lunch in the hotel complex but cooked ourselves - the little kitchen had everything we needed and even some food (instant noodles) + drink (tea, coffee) for us! They also kindly let us use the sauna and the amazing Jacuzzi as long as we wanted for the price of a single visit. Thank you very much for everything, this place is definitely run very professionally and with heart! Looking forward to the next visit, and will recommend Pyhä Igloos to my friends <3
We stayed in the lovely place for two nights and liked it very much. The location is perfectly situated for the walks in the national park and the room is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Would love to come back in winter!
Not a part of very famous destinations in Lapland, Finland, but definitely more beautiful than most of them. Explorester Recommends - 4.15 out of 5 Room: One of the most beautiful rooms. It is half glass igloo, to get a perfect view of the northern lights. Its a small cozy room and very well equipped with everything you might need while you are staying there. A very well equipped pantry kitchen in the room, a clothes dryer in case of a snowy day outside & glass heating to remove the snow from the glass igloo. Food: They have a tie-up with a restaurant next door for breakfast. The restaurant has good spread & also the chef can help you with anything special that you need. You can also choose to cook in the room, there is a grocery store nearby and all utensils available in the room. Facilities: They have a Sauna & Outdoor hot jacuzzi which you can book in advance once you are there so they can get it ready for you. Staff: The owner is always available on call or even Whatsapp. Very responsive for any help that you need there. Property Overall: Not a very big property but small, nice and cozy. Pyha is definitely a must visit and this place is a must stay. Tips: - Stock up water and munchies in your room as it may start snowing anytime. Follow us on Instagram (@TheExplorester) for more!…
Lovely place to stay. The room is nicely design and spacious. You have pantry to make your own meal. Breakfast comes complementary. Plenty of activities from several companies. The host is very attentive where you can communicate via text messages. Perfect!
I was initially rather apprehensive after booking Pyha Igloo, not knowing what to expect and not sure how to get there or go around the place. I sent an email to find out what are the activities my family of 4 could engage in winter and Mika promptly responded with a list of interesting activities of all kinds as well as arrange for my family to easily get there from Rovaniemi and back. The igloo is very modern and comfortable and we could easily stroll to the nearby village where the cafe and the supermarket are. Service providers could pick us from the igloo for all our activities and the ski resort is just within walking distance for those who love skiing. The only downside was the sky was cloudy throughout my family stay there, so we did not get to see any Northern lights, not even the stars! But no regrets booking Pyha Igloos as we certainly enjoyed our family stay there!…
I stayed for one night in the Igloos Room of the Pyha-Luosto National Park. It was very beautiful, even if we didn't catch the northen lights. That's because the park is very close with the nature and you can feel how much respect for it there is there. In the room you can find anything you will ever need. Fridge, top to cook, plates, fork, cup, little boiler for tea, mixer and much more. There is also an incredible machine that can make your clothes dry and warm if you goes out and there is rain or snow, or just if them are wet. Last fact, I personally had some difficult to understand how the place works. I mean the park, and that's, for me, because it0s very big and full of different attraction and service. Everuthing will be clear when I got it. So, men and women, this is a master place.…
