We dined watching the sun go down over the lovely hillside village of San Donato. You get a warm welcome and a glass of prosecco Great menu with plenty of choice, which is refreshing as some local restaurants have quite limited menus. The dishes were well presented and creative without being fussy and the wines were great. High quality honest...

Over the past 10 years my wife and I had visited the restaurant at Locanda di Pietracupa on many occasions and have come to consider it one of our favorites in Tuscany. In 2013 we finally discovered that they also had four rooms for rent above the restaurant. When we then planned our May 2015 trip to Tuscany we abandoned...

La Locanda di Pietrecupa is our favourite place to stay when in Tuscany. Many years we have spent our holidays in this area in a house that we rented and at those occasions we've frequented the restaurant. A few months ago we have visited Tuscany with friends and for our accomodation we had choosen to stay in the Locanda di...

We stayed here three nights (and ate dinner here three nights!) on our 2 week France/Italy trip. The owners were delightful! The restaurant was amazing, wonderful food, beautiful setting. The rooms were simple and clean. They could have been toasty on the 2nd floor with no air, however we were lucky to have lovely, cool nights. This location was perfect...

Absolutely fantastic place. Best dinner during our trip. If you are spending time in Tuscany you should not go back home without having dinner here. We spent +2 weeks in Italy with the family and comming back we all agreed this was our best dinner.

I stayed here for two nights because the B&B my friends were occupying was full and it belonged to a friend of their hostess. I didn't eat breakfast here so can't comment on that but the room was clean and comfortable if unremarkable. There was no air con but a really good ceiling fan which made up for it. You...

This is a nice small boutique B&B which is located in the beatutiful Chianti countryside. The rooms are basic but nice. We had dinner at the resturant, which was excellent. The wild boar pasta with orange was fantastic and the wines were great (obviously). One negative is the lack of AC, which was a struggle in the August heat. The...

This Locanda is quite cheap---only 60Euro/night. The accommodations are sparse, clean, a great value for the money. The real reason to be here is the incredible restaurant. Incredible food not to be missed.
