Stayed there four nights. The following are my comments: Positive. Nice courteous staff Cleanliness Secure Free parking Modern Good furnishings Well stocked frigobar. Negative Very poor breakfast All items in bathroom need repair ( flushing, sink drain, bidet, shower mixer all defective). Rooms a bit small. Lack of some basic items such as a bin and a coat hanger.
Travelling with the family and kids, this hotel was the best choise we ever made. Very close to the airport, nice and spacious room, kids friendly and a very very good restaurant with fresh seafood, I loved 'spaghetti alle vongole' and 'frittura di calamari', can't comment on the wine as we do not drink. The owner, Mr. Benito, is kind and welcoming. We will return for sure as it's good not to wake up so early in the moring to catch the flight. Thanks to the staff, very bests to all!
A modern, clean and conveniently located hotel in the quiet seaside area. Breakfast was nice, staff were great and walking distance to the sea for lunch and dinner on the beach. Parking and lift available.
Nice, little hotel in a quiet town by the seaside. We paid around €40 for double room but got an upgrade for free. They also have a sauna and jacuzzi in the basement, which you can book for €20 p.p. What I didn't like: There was no duvet (I would call it a sheet), I didn't have a good sleep at night. Breakfast: I don't like sweets, so I was disappointed with selection of meets and no hot buffet... My exact valuation would be 3.8/5 as the room was really nice! Especially the bathroom and big TV.
Very modern hotel. Good and quiet location. Not far from the beach. Nice and freshly made breakfast. Friendly staff. Nice views from the window. Warm and cosy room, nicely decorated. The bathroom is High standard! Very please. Highly recommend.
In my wedding in Calabria I booked some rooms in this hotel for my guests and they were pretty delighted: modern and clean rooms and a wonderful landscape. The staff was professional. I wish I knew earlier about it in order to book a room for me...
Great reception lady: Maria Vittoria, she was very helpful and gave us generous tips: good restaurant for diner, places to visit in Calabria and on our route to Amalfi. It makes a great welcome to Italy !!! the Hotel is located quite near the Airport, beautiful and comfort rooms, good Breakfast.
We were on our way from Naples to Palermo, and we just spent one night. The hotel is new, with a very large bathroom. Bed was confortable, and the room was quiet. Good wi fi signal. And it is very close from the highway.
If you need to be in the area for a reasonable price I recommend this place. Clean, nice rooms and bathrooms , comfy bed friendly staff and good breakfast. I slept here in my way to Sicily and it was worth it. We woke up rested ready to keep going after choosing a very good place to rest.
I was travelling to Lamezcia Terme via Rome from London and landing at the airport in the evening and the next day travelling to Maratea in Basilicata – where was I to stay overnight as Oct/Nov is out of season and many hotels are closed? In my research I found Hotel Paradiso located in Falerna Marina, an established seaside resort in Calabria. This is a small (10 bedrooms) modern hotel with free transfers (they need to be booked up front!) from the airport and the train station. Here we are talking about a distance of 12km and say a 20 minute transfer. Having climbed Gran Paradiso in Piedmont in northern Italy (the Country’s highest mountain at 4,061m) in 2013, this was to be the hotel for me. What a good decision this was as Benito and his staff were all so very helpful, friendly and all spoke English. The hotel has a lift, is warmly furnished, very comfortable and has all the facilities you need. The buffet breakfast in the morning was most enjoyable. Nearby (ten minutes walk downhill) were two good restaurants (Charly Pizzeria Risterante and Corte dell’ Olimpo restaurant & winebar) for an evening meal. On my return journey to the UK I stayed overnight once again. You have free Wi-Fi, essential when travelling. The hotel is open all year and also offers a range of tours (cultural, leisure and sea, enogastronomic and religious) with transport and guides. What a wonderful way to discover the ‘toe’, ‘instep’ and ‘heel’ of Italy!…
