This is a marvellous part of the world. However you really would be much better off basing yourself in lovely Angaston (the least spoiled town in the Barossa - you are technically in the Eden Valley region, more rustic). The owner is very attached to the property.

My daughter had her wedding here, the place was absolutely beautiful but the owner was an ingnorant and rude busy body. No peace and quiet with her around and she was around more than was necessary. Very intrusive, and because of that wouldnt stay there again.
