Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed with Annie and Bryan for 3 nights. Our room was spacious, generous bathroom, all very clean. They were wonderful hosts. Very friendly and treated us like family. It was easy to drive to all the places we wanted to visit in the area and they were helpful giving us good restaurant recommendations. They live in the country on a working cattle farm. I enjoyed my morning walks down the road exploring and taking in local terrain. Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious! Highly recommend!

We stayed 2 nights, our 2nd & 3rd nights of our trip. The home, room and bathroom were wonderful. And Annie & Bryan were so friendly, just like family, really. We talked quite a bit with Annie when we arrived and she rang up Carmichaels in Ballymoney, where we went for dinner. Upon our return, we sat with them and shared pictures from our first trip to Ireland, as well as our trip to Australia (they have kin there). My wife is into genealogy and we must have spent at least 3 hours each night with Bryan helping find out more about my ancestors, and just socializing in general. We would definitely return if we make it back to Northern Ireland again.

What a wonderful way to experience a B & B for the first time! Annie and Bryan were just the perfect hosts and a beautiful country home. They were excellent at suggestions and directions on seeing things close by. With the snow that blanketed the whole of Ireland, their first concern was our safety. We felt like we were at home with them!

Annie and Brian are wonderful hosts. Breakfasts are wonderful, Annie will cook your order to perfection. The location is excellent for touring places like Giants Causeway, Londonderry, and the rest of Northern Ireland. Brian was an immense help with our genealogy research, his knowledge of the local area and where to find information on families in Ireland was of great help. The rooms are immaculate, the water is hot and strong. We highly recommend this BnB as a destination in the area.

Annie was the perfect hostess. Tons of info and maps on Northern Ireland. Room was comfortable, spacious and had a private bath. Location of the B&B is close to many attractions, Giant Causeway, Rope Bridge, Dunluce Castle, etc. Loved the breakfasts Annie served!

If you want to make a trip to Northern Irerland and want to visit Giant’s Causeway and Carrick-a-rede, there is one B&B you certainly must visit. Big rooms with recent furniture, big modern bathroom with walk-in shower where even a wheelchair can enter. The breakfast is very well prepared and the irish breakfast is very well presented. The host and her husband gave many adequate tips on the Giant’s Causeway. Parking place on the premises and good-working internet. We experienced that there are not very much restaurants in the neighbourhood, so we were in the Elliot’s bistro, the restaurant of the Lodge Hotel. If we return to Northern Ireland, this is the B&B we would certainly return too.

Five of us recently stayed in two rooms here.Hosts were wonderful and offered many good and helpful tips for sightseeing in the area. Rooms were large, bathrooms clean, and mattresses more comfortable than some we had in Ireland. Would definitely stay here again.

What a wonderful time we had at the Kilmail country chalet with host, Brian and Annie. We really hit it off with these fine people. I swear I was visiting my aunt and uncle as they made us feel like family. The accommodations are clean and the breakfasts are completely Irish and out of this world. Tell Brian about your family history in Ireland and he will look things up on the Internet that you did not know existed. Brian actually set up a meeting with a distant cousin of mine. It was truly a miracle how it all came about. These kind folk really were wonderful to my wife and I. I came in the one night kind of hungry and had to look after my addiction, a bowl of cereal. It was like I was at home. Such sweet people. If and when we go back, we will be heading right to our home, the Kilmail country chalet! Look no further, you have found your place to stay - with family. Cheers!!

After a mix up with another bnb in the area (my fault) Annie graciously took the 3 of us in on Easter Sunday night and charged the same as the other bnb. She and Brian had 2 lovely rooms on the ground floor which I need since I have a problem with stairs. If you have any medical issues they have a walk in shower. Bedrooms are comfortable . Breakfast is made to order. they are a fund of knowledge and absolutely delightful.
