This resort is spectacular. There is so many things on offer that you can do. The pool was clean and large and there was a lot of space around it to sit or sunbathe. The butterfly garden is amazing, I wouldn't usually be interested in things like that but I have to say it was amazing. The staff in the...

We traveled in November and the place was wonderful. The view from the balcony of the restaurant is breathtaking. The food at breakfast and dinner was very good and tasty. The waiters were polite some very serious but still polite. The beds in the junior suites are very comfortable and soft. Big and Spacious rooms. It truly was a wonderful...

We spent 2 nights at this lovely resort. The lobby is large and comfortable with views of the water and animals. Our room was large and comfortable with an appealing understated decor . The bath is large with lovely tile. The balcony and hammock were a nice feature. Clean and good service from the staff. The food was only average..although...

The resort is beautifully located in Gamboa Rainforest. The food and beverage prices are high, the local beer was the most expensive we had in all Panama. And 40 Usd for a short cable car excursion is too much. Hotel rooms are spacious and clean, although a bit noisy. Nice swimming pool.

This is probably a decent spot to bring kids or to watch birds during dry season, but I would not go out of my way to stay here. The rooms themselves had paper thin walls - we could actually hear the conversations in the rooms on either side of us word for word, and we were woken up at 5...

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a night and enjoyed our time. The entrance & lobby is breathtaking, really sets the tone for where you are at. All the service we received from every staff member was very good, they seemed genuinely friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The tile floor may make it seem...

Love Panama, but hate Gamboa. Big waste of time. There are many beautiful places in Panama with jungle, wildlife and water views. We have spent the last week traveling Panama and love the country, it's people and the landscape. Spending 1 day at Gamboa Rainforest Resort and it is one day too many. The isolation limits your choices for food,...

We purchased an all inclusive plan. Our room was clean, quiet with a view of the river. It's in a rainforest so things are a bit humid. It's not a luxury room but it was clean with a comfortable bed. The views from the lobby are breathtaking as they have a wall of 3 story tall windows overlooking the river/lake....

To start things off, when we arrived in Panama, 11/22/13, we thought that there would be a Fun-Jet rep. waiting for us to take us to our destination like all our other Fun Jet all inclusive trips we've been on. We were wrong. We asked at the airport where the Fun Jet rep was, and they looked at us crazy....

Firstly, it is a basic hotel. We were there off-season in the end of July, so that does make a difference. The facilities are basic and since it is a rainforest, our room was musty, even though it was on the fourth floor, but totally livable. On the other hand, we woke up to capybaras right outside our balcony. It...
