We stayed there in December of 2013. It is about an hour ride from the airport. We got a cab when we arrived in the airport and they charged about $45. You could probably negotiate a lower price but we did not know that at the time. The first room we were assigned was on the third floor and the...

We, a group of friends arrived after a lovely time in Bocas del Torre at the Gamboa Rainforest Resort. What a change... The rooms were EXTREMELY mouldy, moist, demoisturizer not working. The mould was that bad, that it probably already was a health hazard! One couple had a room where even the bedsheets were wet! I asked for a room...

We agree with most of the comments of our fellow Caravan Tour compatriots. Overall, we thought it was a wonderful two-day stay because of the wildlife we saw. As far as the room, it was clean and very bright. My wife loved the hammock. I would post a photo of her in it, but that would not be a good...

We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay at this property on the Chagres River, near Gatun Lake. We entered the property through a large foyer area where free Wi-Fi is available. Fresh fruit drinks and water are available in this location as is the gift shop, reception and tour desk. The restaurant is down one level in a large glassed-in 'panoramic...

The hotel is about 40 minutes from the city and they offer a brunch during weekends which starts at 12 pm. Champagne is included in the package and you can have a mimosa or two if you like. The buffet has a wide selection. They have a carving station, pasta section and even a sushi bar. They also have a...

Stayed 3 nights in Feb, 2014. This place has a great location--just 30 minutes from Panama City, but in another world. Our room was fine with the exception of the housekeeping staff which could use a little work. The reception and lobby area is fantastic as was the food and beautiful pool area. The only thing I would change would...

Our stay was very enjoyable at this beautiful location. The resort is in need of updating and a deep cleaning . Our room was comfortable with views of the rainforest. The staff was very helpful, friendly and polite. The food was ok, just ok, with friendly but very slow service. The hotel is dated, and needs updating and is suffering...

WE went with a tour group. Beautiful, when first entering. We were greeted with fruit punch. Everyone friendly. There was WiFi only in the main lobby. The hotel wasn't maintained. My husband and I booked four nights in this resort for a luxury stay on our way home from Ecuador. Our booking was based on the recommendations of friends who had stayed here in early 2008. This is a huge complex, with many guest rooms, which are quite large, with huge bathrooms, and balconies with rope hammocks! We were really disturbed by the mold/mildew smell in our room.
