I was a bit aprehensive initially as this is a house on the edge of a housing development, but I in the end I was very satisfied with our stay. We arranged for dinner at the BnB every night and the food was simple, but tasty and plentiful. Definitely worthwhile. We didn't have a car and this was very limiting...

We stayed four nights in this b&b and found it extremely overpriced for what we got. On the plus side the room was very clean, the bed comfortable and the bathroom spacious and clean. No more than I would expect at these prices. There was no private outside space to relax just a bench overlooking the small garden. The food...

We travelled around Panama for almost three weeks. The Canopy B & B was the best place we stayed. Great hospitality, good food, great location, clean, fantastic garden. Don't forget to also visit pipeline road.

The room was clean and quite a nice size, we also got a speedy refund for our last night there after we decided to leave after 2 nights instead of 3. I was obviously disappointed with my stay For some reason I was expecting to be in the thick of the forest with birds and animals all around. What I...

We are sorry to hear that the Canopy B&B in the lovely little Canal town of Gamboa was not for you. Our website is very detailed with text and photos as to the accommodations and surrounding environment. Yes, the Canopy B&B is uniquely located in the town of Gamboa, which itself is very green and full of wildlife, but keep...

We loved this lovely B&B. Rooms are simple, but in a very nice house with wooden floors and lots of history. The living room where breakfast is served is very spacious. We had dinner in the nearby Gamboa Resort, where there is a buffet. The Gamboa resort is more like a standard resort, but in a wonderful setting and nature....

We spent three nights at the Canopy B&B and couldn't be happier. The rotating staff was cordial, helpful and accommodating. They provided early breakfast on a day we went bird-watching and coffee at 5 am on another day when we were heading to the airport. We loved watching the birds in the backyard and occasional agouti. They helped set up...

We only stayed here for one night as we had a car rental and were intent on seeing as much of Panama as we could. We enjoyed our room (#3) and the common area and the library - we ended up being the only people staying there, so had the whole place to ourselves. We found all the staff very...

Agree with the positive comments from the previous reviewers. Stayed a total of 5 nights. Staff was uniformly friendly and helpful - although a couple had limited English skills. But between them and my limited Spanish, we managed to communicate. We ate here 4 nights, and the food was uniformly good. I think on some if not all the nights,...

Stayed two nights. We were in Gamboa for the birding, which was great! The home from the US canal era was wonderful. We stayed in an upstairs room and it was comfortable. Jorge and Oswaldo were great hosts and we appreciated the extra early breakfasts to get us out birding early. We ate 2 evening meals there as well which...

This is such a lovely place to stay and enjoy the town of Gamboa. Osualdo and Jorge were so friendly and helped ID backyard birds, carried luggage, and served meals. Smiling, shy ladies prepared delicious meals that were served family-style, and we enjoyed conversation with other birders. The staff was incredibly helpful in arranging pre-sunrise breakfast for our early birding...
