The room we got was not the one advertised at the time of booking, however the room we got was fine for our needs. The grounds are beautiful - with fruit trees and cacti abound! Clean and well kempt, privacy is respected - helpful, friendly staff, pool (un-heated and freezing if the weather is not hot enough)! Beach is about... More

We stayed here for 6 nights and absolutely loved this place. The hotel itself is lovely and clean.Breakfast is really good and the customer service is excellent.Walking around Tavronitis village,as it's a bit out of downtown, we experienced something close to the "Greek way of life".In general we highly recommend Lycasti for chilled, peaceful relaxation.

We drove into an unassuming and virtually identical hotel expecting very little, but imagine our surprise when we encountered, first of all, incredibly friendly and helpful staff, a gorgeous and secluded pool where only hotel guests swam and well kept grounds with green, luscious lawns, banana plants and various other fruit trees. In our room near the pool we could... More

We stopped for one night to break our journey from Paleochora in the South to the airport at Chania in the North. It was a good move - the rooms were well appointed although a little dated. The best bit was the fabulous garden with pool which we had to ourselves as the other residents must have been out that... More

We stayed here for a week in mid September. Our plane was a late arrival one so we didn't arrive at the hotel until 11pm but we were given a warm and friendly welcome, a choice of apartments and food recommendations. The next day, Thanasos - the ever helpful and friendly receptionist - gave us lots of recommendations of where... More

Nice well mantained small hotel with big rooms/appartments. Great for families with nice swimming pool. Unfortunately, the beach is not very close and the road to go there is ugly. Car is mandatory since the village is very small. All palm trees of photos have died and the swimming pool is a bit naked with not nice views of ugly... More

Easy access to quiet beach away from the principal tourist area. We had a large apartment which was impeccably clean. The apartment was spacious with a a good size terrace. The pool was great surrounded by lovely gardens an oasis of calm. Breakfast was a bit ordinary but the staff were very helpful. Excellent value and well placed for exploring... More

I and my boyfriend stayed at Lycasti for a week in May 2014. It"s a nice, quiet and clean place located away from tourist areas. Once you enter the property, you would notice the therapeutic smell of flowers. All staff members and even the local people are all nice & friendly. One of the local taverns a couple of minutes... Lycasti had been recommended by a friend as a quiet place to stay but close to the bustle of Chania as we were exploring Crete. The room was spacious and clean with a split level bedroom and balcony. The pool was large and well kept, with lovely gardens and olive trees next it. Only 300m from the beach, pebbly so... More

It was a really quiet and clean place. The value is also really good, we did not expect so much for this price. The rooms were cleaned every day. This place is owned and ran by family and it shows! We also enjoyed large and clean swimming pool. What is more, there are plenty of green space in the territory... More
