Booked this holiday with Simpson Travel.A pretty, small cottage, with basic furniture, bed was comfortable.Could have done with an extra toilet and signal for the TV. I Know you don't go on holiday to watch TV,but it would have been nice to see the World News or something. Some have views, ours "Lavendar Cottage" didn't.A good size pool,ok breakfast, you can choose way of cooking eggs.There...

Located in the village of Vamos this is not the place if you are looking for a bustling nightlife. If however you want a great base to explore the island and a peaceful haven to relax in the sun you couldn't ask for better. We stayed in the Oregano cottage and it was very well put together. Consisting of a...

Our experience of Arosmari was outstanding in every way. The setup affords highly personal attention and tranquil privacy. Immaculate accommodation with authentic Cretan craftsmanship and open air breakfast freshly prepared. Within 30 minutes by car Chania and a huge variety of beaches, a freshwater lake and many villages is available.

This was our second visit to the Arosmari village retreat and yet again it delivered on every count. If you are looking for a quiet holiday with local culture and excellent amenities this could be for you! The accommodation is in restored old houses which have character but comfort. The friendly staff keep the place immaculate (welcome breakfasts, clean sheets,...

This place is heavenly, the grounds are kept beautifully, the outdoor pool is perfect, nothing is too much trouble for Sue and team. Breakfasts are varied, freshly cooked and delicious. We didn't hire a car but went for local walks and spent time round the pool and in the reading room. We thoroughly enjoyed a couple of massages from Stelios....

We have just spent 2 wonderful weeks here. A lovely opportunity to stay in an authentic Greek cottage but refitted to the highest standard. We stayed in Camomile cottage a real home from home. The whole place including the gardens and grounds oozes quality and style. Such a variety of plants, flowers and birds the fabulous fragrances amongst the peace...

Vamos is a lovely location, you can quickly become part of the village rhythm welcomed in all the location tavernas and bars. The cottages at Arosmari are delightful and quaint. The staff and management are all very friendly and helpful. Do attend Nicos's concert evening, the music and atmosphere are great, as is the buffet of family cooked specialties.

The Arosmari is an enchanting cluster of old Cretan houses set around a central garden with extensive seating areas, reading room, honesty bar, hammam, spa, breakfast restaurant, old chapel, threshing circle, concert amphitheatre and a wonderful pool. The garden is a real oasis, peaceful, quiet, private and exclusive. We could have happily stayed by the pool for 14 days and...

When we wanted a last minute week in the sun to relax we headed straight back here without hesitation! Beautiful place, nicely run and full of detail that makes it such a pleasure to be there. The individual cottages and own car give total independence whilst the beautiful shared areas (pool, gardens, reading room, breakfast area etc.) and services are...

We have been two years running now something we have never done before. The whole experience at Arosmari is one of total relaxation from day one, a warm greeting with no sales talk. Vamos village is peaceful ideal for local walks and a small selection of Taverna's. Accommodation is really good in any of the 10 cottages and the descriptions...
