My wife and I recently spent a long weekend at the Acajou Beach Resort on Cote D'or, Praslin and it was a lovely experience. Staff are friendly and welcoming from reservations right through to gardeners. Our Room (Double Deluxe with Seaview) was great with nicely decorated interior, all mod con's and fantastic double shower room (amazing). We enjoyed an uninterrupted...

This hotel is well managed and is located by a lovely white sandy beach. The amenities are good, the rooms are clean and comfortable, fully equipped. Staff is professional and friendly. The 10:00 a.m. check-out time is ridiculously early and breakfast served only at 7:30 is too late for early risers, early travellers or excursion goers.

We had booked one of the villas as the agency recommended and were thrilled. The villas are very quiet, each with its own swimming pool, and are beautifully designed. A piece of heaven in a heavenly place! The hotel has also several nice beaches that can be accessed to, so we went back and forth between the villa and the...

We stayed in Acajou for 4 nights in April. We stayed in a family room which was very large and perfectly suited our needs. The grounds were well maintained and the beach really nice. I read previous reviews of seaweed and I think this is highly dependent on which time of year you visit as we did not have much...

Acajou is one of those places that is neither a let down nor something to get excited about. So we stayed at the apartment and will just keep the review focused on that. Overall the hotel is nice , the beach had black seaweed so we could not really enjoy that but thats a problem with seychelles in feb. (...

We wondered whether a third holiday spent at Acajou could get any better! Once again we came away from South Africa midst political tensions, student tensions on campuses, raging veld fires, a crippling drought, ESKOM woes and many other upsetting factors which leave one with drooping spirits and feeling disheartened. Then to step off the plane in Mahe, surrounded by...

My wife and I have been to Acajou 7 times the last time being prior to the closure of the hotel for refurbishment. We spent 14 nights over Christmas & New Year 2015/16. The difference is amazing. The hotel, whilst being good before, has now stepped up its class with a new swimming pool, new superior rooms and a great...

We spent 8 nights across the new year eve and had a very pleasant stay. The room was very spacious, with a balcony that overlooked the garden, the pool and the sea. The hotel is nice, with a bar, pool restaurant for the day and main restaurant for the evening. It has both a pool and a beach organized with...

I was at the Acajou during the last new year eve. I booked a superior room for 6 nights with B&B treatment. Location is direct on the Cote D´Or beach, close by a small village where we had the chance to test several nice Restaurants. The room was nice, with a wonderfull sea view. Just in the evening lot of...

A lovely location adjacent to a very pleasant beach. Superior rooms are well-appointed and spacious. Service was pretty good. There was a big buffet dinner party on Christmas Eve, which the guests and staff got into with gusto.
