Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Spacious apartment, clean with everything you need including a sunshade as needed late afternoon. The hosts were very friendly and very helpful, would recommend if you dont mind the walk as it is all uphill.

Stayed 4 nights. The apartments are good. Mine was large, 2 balconies, overlooking sea and fortress. There are a few shortcuts, but if you ask the owner Giorgios, he rectifies it. Reasonable given the cost. Also they don’t function on email and there are no card facilities (I paid by bank transfer). I would recommend.

We have been going here for many years and have travelled the world but this is one I of our favourite places in the whole world. We went here in May for three weeks and enjoyed every second. We are 70 years plus but managed the cobbles and hill up to the apartment because it is totally worth it.George is a lovely man and will do his utmost to make sure you enjoy your stay.Peaceful and lovely, if you want quiet, this is the place for you

This trip was my third time in Molyvos. I like to stay in old houses and try different locations.Queen of Molyvos is perfect for me. Very quiete, very clean, very useful and near to everywhere. Our room was in the second floor, we use common balcony which was ok for us because Nobody was passing. The third floor balcony has better view i guess. The first floor is in the garden and has less privacy. In the morning we made our tea and coffe, buy breakfast from bakery which is very near. For dinner harbour was our choice. The price and what we get was perfect for us.If you like stay in house rather than hotel room, live with locals you will like it.Thanks to George for everthing, very polite and helpful. Definetely i will prefer for my next time.

Nice, clean and cozy rooms with a great balcony. Will probably stay in my next trip too. Maybe the only problem is climbing. The hotel is located very close to the molyvos castle which is bit far from restaurants and makes you climb to reach. 8/10

Just arrived back home from a two week stay at the apartments. We had the studio room, room 11, which was on the ground floor. This I believe is the smallest and most basic of all the apartments. Some of the apartments upstairs were much bigger with better facilities. However, we were very happy. We had access to a table, chairs and parasol in the most beautiful garden. Ideal for post beach beer time with a view of the sea. Fantastic! The room was typically Greek, basic, but the bathroom was much more spacious than most. It was clean and there were nice touches, such a soap and washing up liquid provided. Cooking facilities allowed us to cook meals for half of the time there. There was a two ring stove, microwave and coffee machine. The apartments are situated right at the top of the town, not far from the castle. This is great for the views and also the cool breeze in the evening. It also very close to the number one rated restaurant Tropicana and one of the local bakeries. However, it is quite a climb from the town and the beach. So if you in anyway struggle with hills, you may wish to book elsewhere, or hire a car. Which we did. Parking was fine. The apartments have a very good sized car park. The thing that is the best about Molyvos Queen Apartments however, is George, the owner. He is brilliant. Laid back, funny and very approachable. We had an issue with one of the rings on our stove, he resolved it within a couple of hours. He was also there each evening tending to his garden, which was fantastic as he gave us so many tomatoes and peppers, which were divine. He gave brilliant tips on places to visit. Thank you George for such a wonderful holiday. We loved our stay in Molyvos and if go back to Lesvos we will definitely stay with you again.

We've just returned from a week's holiday staying at the Molyvos Queen apartments. It was an absolutely fantastic stay. Lovely outdoor areas to sit in and enjoy a glass of wine, and it is a short walk to all you could wish to explore in Molyvos. We dined in the harbour every night so didn't need to use the kitchen area in our studio apartment but it certainly seemed like it had everything we would need. There is free wifi for guests, and for those who aren't sure about the lack of a pool there is one just round the corner which can be used for free (2.50 euros for a sunbed for the day). George the owner was friendly and welcoming, and clearly takes great pride in his apartments and their gardens. He is happy to help with any queries you may have, and has a fantastic local knowledge. We don't often like returning to the same place for a holiday as we prefer to try new things but we will definitely come back to this beautiful place!

Stayed here recently with wifey. We like to wander around our destinations so don't really need to be in a lux hotel anymore. Pluses, sea and sunset views to three sides, two balconies so you're in the sun morning and night. Has a clean living room, kitchen and bedroom, pleasnt gardens. Negatives don't go if you've any kind of mobility issues as its a 200m walk down steep uneven cobbled streets to get to restaurants bars etc. George the owner charges €5 for air on which took me back but apparently that's normal for here. Wifi is not very reliable so if you need it go the the restaurants where it's a lot better.

This is a great place to stay. Though l would say if you have trouble with hills this is not the place for you.Simple small apartments with fantastic views. Quiet and feels like you are out in the middle of no where when in fact it is just a five minute stroll to town. The Tropicana restaurant which serves fantastic food and is in a beautiful shaded square is two minute walk away if you don't fancy going to town for your evening meal. There is also a bakers and small local grocery shop two min walk away. The Acropol a small hotel two mins walk behind the apartments has a great pool you can use. A large uncrowded pool in a beautiful setting. They also serve snacks for a cheap inexpensive meal. Well worth a visit. Molyvos is a beautiful place to visit. Great shops, great restaurants, plenty to do.Great place for family's. Never felt crowded even in August. Friendly and very laid back. You should visit Molyvos.

We have just spent two weeks here. The Molyvos Queen apartments are extremely clean, bright, well furnished and well equiped. Really comfortable bed! The location is beautiful, looking out over the sea or to the castle. The apartments are well managed and the nicest accomodation we have stayed in in Lesvos. Highly recommended.
