This was our second visit to 'The Escarpment' and on both occasions we found it to a lovely place to relax and unwind. We stayed at the main house which was designed to take full advantage of the amazing views and featured timber floors and natural stone which gave the feeling of being relaxed and cosy, The main house is...

I really enjoyed my escape at The Escarpment this past weekend. It was a lovely retreat to relax and enjoy some downtime for a few days. The villa was very comfortable although a little dark but this was expected with the winter sun set lower in the sky. The food was delicious, staff very polite and helpful and the location...

Lovely large room but shared wall with next door villa does create noise issues . Privacy not 100% guaranteed either as guests are encouraged to tour the gardens so anyone might pop by your window at any time. This means shutters and blinds tend to remain closed which does make for a very dark room. Wood burner fire is cute,...

From the moment that we arrived our welcome was amazing. Welcomed with champagne and chocolates. The rooms were breathtaking What you see on the website is most definitely what you get. Dinner to our room was excellent. Breakfast was cooked to perfection. We both had massages and came away feeling very relaxed and wanting a good sleep. I loved the...

The Massage and Therapists were lovely but after a two hour treatment most people are feeling a little light headed and drowsy. I stumbled out of the treatment room and was shown the door. Literally every other massage I have ever had was followed by the offer of a glass or water, some tea and a seat to rest in...

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of our honeymoon and we definitely saved the best until last! The rooms were spacious and relaxing, we loved the rainforest being right there, and the walks around the grounds with all the lookout spots that were provided. The housekeeping was wonderful, and even on days when we...

To start off with the place had a strong romantic vibe to it and the place, rooms and views were amazing and beautiful! However there were a few downputs. •The toilet had poo skids when we arrived and opened it from the sealed paper cover so the cleaner obviously saw that and still sealed it •No hot water for ONE...

Nice but just not our thing in the end. Many will think otherwise. The manager was great and the accommodation was of a high standard but we found our apartment was just too dark. Breakfast was a treat and the grounds were nice also. All in all not bad but it did seem alot of money for what we got.
