We stayed here a while ago, the view from the house is just gorgeous and so are the animals. Our room was ok but the bed was lumpy and uncomfortable and we ended up having to go and get massages our backs hurt that much. Being a bed and breakfast we expected breakfast to be cooked but the eggs and...

We loved this place. The views are stunning, across the valley or looking down to the coast. There is a nice swinging chair for 2 or a covered table area from which you can kick back and enjoy! Accommodation was also good condition, rooms and bathroom clean. Nice kitchenette where we cooked our bacon and eggs each day. Overall we...

Old world rooms with Kitchenettes give good value for money. Rooms are tidy and beds are comfortable. Plenty of space in the rooms and balconies are great. Facilities are excellent, Pool and BBQ great to utilise. The view from the Rear of the property in the BBQ dining area is breath taking. A magic little corner of the world.

Not sure why this place gets 4.5 stars. Either people have very low standards or this is the norm for hotel accommodation? Cobwebbed screens, moldy bathrooms and inch-thick dust is du jour. I imagine it's difficult to find fastidious staff in a place like Tamborine Mountain. The place has some gorgeous views of Gold Coast. Don't park under the gum...

Tripadvisor lacks all credibility with its reviews as anybody can submit a review. The problem with a Tripadvisor reviews is the authenticity of the writer whereas "Booking.com" &" Expedia" write to their guest after they have stayed and invites them to write a review. This person in question is a sacked employee looking for revenge...just look at our other reviews to...

Stayed here for 5 nights on my own whilst researching a book I'm writing about a family from the area. I absolutely loved this place. If I could move in permanently, I would. The location is stunning and so restful, well away from the tourist areas at the other end of the mountain . The accommodation units are huge -...

We stayed for 3 nights at Aaronlee and were pleasantly surprised. The views are stunning and the gardens around the accommodation are beautiful. I loved the ponies, Honey and Bonnie, who came over for pats and treats. Ian the owner was very helpful and friendly. The negative part was the accomodation itself - it really needs updating. The furniture and...

To escape the heatwave in Brisbane, we drove the scenic route via Beenleigh and Tamborine Village up to Mount Tamborine and on to Aaronlee Retreat for our third visit. Aaronlee is quite remote and sits on the edge of the southern escarpment overlooking Canungra. It is very quiet, the breeze is cooling and the views down the valley are magnificient....

Aaronlee was recommended by friends and we were not disappointed. We knew that it was not a serviced motel with ritzy decor and furnishings that could be anywhere in the world. But our room was clean, the bed comfortable and the furniture suited the period style of the place. At 560 metres high the summer temperature and gentle breezes were...

Lovely experience, beautiful spot. Nothing overly fancy about room but its about what you expect for 3.5 star. We booked a spa suite for 3 adults and 1 child and got Room 4, it had a 1 bedroom with a double bed, single bed and a trundle bed. The other large room had 2 lounges, dining table for 4 and...
