We stayed for 3 nights at Aaronlee and were pleasantly surprised. The views are stunning and the gardens around the accommodation are beautiful. I loved the ponies, Honey and Bonnie, who came over for pats and treats. Ian the owner was very helpful and friendly. The negative part was the accomodation itself - it really needs updating. The furniture and...

To escape the heatwave in Brisbane, we drove the scenic route via Beenleigh and Tamborine Village up to Mount Tamborine and on to Aaronlee Retreat for our third visit. Aaronlee is quite remote and sits on the edge of the southern escarpment overlooking Canungra. It is very quiet, the breeze is cooling and the views down the valley are magnificient....

Aaronlee was recommended by friends and we were not disappointed. We knew that it was not a serviced motel with ritzy decor and furnishings that could be anywhere in the world. But our room was clean, the bed comfortable and the furniture suited the period style of the place. At 560 metres high the summer temperature and gentle breezes were...

Lovely experience, beautiful spot. Nothing overly fancy about room but its about what you expect for 3.5 star. We booked a spa suite for 3 adults and 1 child and got Room 4, it had a 1 bedroom with a double bed, single bed and a trundle bed. The other large room had 2 lounges, dining table for 4 and...

We stayed here for two nights and had a lodge overlooking the valley and with great views across to the Gold Coast. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, if in need of a bit of a face-lift and more thorough cleaning. We had great fun cooking for ourselves and using the outside gas barbecue. We didn't have to drive far for...

My boyfriend and I stayed 3 nights here during mid November 2016. The rooms and the staff were lovely and the price. The only downer for us was they didn't cater vegan friendly breakfast (breakfast was included in the room pricing), even after we specified our dietary requirements at the time of the booking.

3 night stay in lovely location, 2 bedroom cottage. peace and quiet. Ideal for a stay in the area. Although furnishings were a little tired this did not effect the stay whatsoever. Large cottage with good kitchen facilities and comfy beds. Opened the fridge door to find Bacon, eggs bread, milk etc for 3 huge breakfasts each. A real bonus.......

Its away from everything and has a lovely peaceful atmosphere about it. The breakfast is included in the affordable rates. It's a bit dated but the space makes up for the decor. All in all we enjoyed our time there and would go again.

I found this online and called direct as we had a baby and wanted to make sure it would work for us. Ian is the perfect host and allocated us a very comfortable room that suited our needs and then some! The supplied bacon and eggs was lovely and the spa was amazing!! The property itself is beautiful with stunning...
