We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights, all included. Everything was OK - food tasty, big variety of it,staff working so hard an helpful. Room was big, the view from balcony - wonderful -sea, palms, etc. But what a "strange"decision of hotel management - charges for WiFi. That is nonsense - it is free even in small bars anywere...

Hi. We visited the Solimar in September for seven nights on an all inclusive basis. We had private transfers from the airport which took about half an hour, a perfect transfer time in my opinion. Check in at the hotel was easy, but not a great deal of "orientation" information given. We were in room 220 which we think was...

Nice staff, but bad management, unfortunatelly. The standard rooms are not in good conditions, need to be updated (maybe acceptable for a 2* hotel). The resort is nice, quite, clean, the food is ok. 4* for the staff from reception and restaurant!

When i arrived for my visit i was told my room was not available and i would be sent to another hotel for 2 days and then get an upgrade on my booking to a "vip" room. The hotel i was sent to was really nice though a little inappropriate as it was for families with kiddies and i was...

You need to be very clear on why you go to this hotel. Go because you want peace and quiet, a decent pool, good all inclusive drinks and clean rooms. Don't go for food or good service. To be clear, I have stayed at a number of all inclusives and this one had the worst food. The service beggared belief....

We are staying in this hotel at the moment in the VIP by the pool bar and we love it. The room is spotless and the maid is so kind. The staff are very helpful. There is plenty of choice of food, they cater for every taste. The private pool is amazing, not overlooked and again very clean. I would...

This hotel is very much in the middle of nowhere, which would have been okay if there was entertainment in the evening. Unfortunately apart from one evening in the week when there was a singer, there was very little for the adults to do, as there are no other bars/restaurants within walking distance. We were upgraded to a 'Junior Suite...

We have just returned from a weeks holiday at this hotel and had the most amazing time! The food is absolutely fantastic, with plenty of variety each day for everyone's tastes. We loved the pool bar, restaurant and roof top bar- so much to choose from!! We only ventured to Platanias for 1 day (9 euros each way in a...

I traveled earlier this month for the first time in Crete and I stayed together with other 5 friends at this resort. Having experienced other holidays in Greece and also in Chania, I can honestly say this is a true 4 stars hotel/resort. It's very close to the sea, 5 minutes walk and although the beach is more rocky than...
