We opted for Team Pajero group this time to experience the hospitality of Al raha camp. Although this was our 3rd trip in this camp. Welcome fruits and Kahwa on arrival is good after a tiring travel from Muscat. they also provided the lunch which was basic and not many items to choose from. Evening tea/coffee and fruits were good. Live music and some games for the kids were nice, crackers and little fireworks added to the fun. Dinner was basic and b/f next morning was average. We cant expect more in the rooms as you are in the middle of the desert.
Me and group of friends stayed at Al Raha camp in Wahiba sands last Oman National day holidays.Very nice camp with all facilities and friendly supporting staff.Food and stay was good and comfortable.Really good camp for families with dune bashing, sand bikes, camel riding, arabic music, campfire, children play areas and so on.A must go place if not been to Wahiba sands..
Very disappointing! What its shows on its brochure is not what you get! Not worth the money at all. Bare minimum facilities, noisy, and uncomfortable. If you are only looking for a place to sleep out of the wind, with very basic meals then this place is good. If you are expecting a comfortable resort with a variety of food options and hot water for showering, rather them try one of the other beautiful resorts in the area if you looking for more than absolute basic accommodation. OMAN, and Wahiba sands are very beautiful, and there are much better Desert Camps in the area to choose from. There is no need to pay inflated prices for bad dinner, bed and breakfast!
Nice place to stay with family. Breakfast and Dinner provided inside the camp. Avarage room facility since it is in the middle of desert. Nice view of Sun rise and sun set. You can enjoy camel ride and Buggy drive near by.
