Wasn’t worth the money. Unique place, beautiful at night-time, but at day light you can see the ugly unfinnished-looking shacks they call view-suites. And no view from the view-suite. Plus the room was untidy, found an acrylic nail between the fresh towels. The spa was average. The boat-restaurant was really nice and food was excellent.

Friendly and genuine staff, clean, excellent spa, beautiful architecture in and out, great food and activities. I could not find anything to complain about, even if I tried (after all, I'm Finnish). Great value for your money and will definitely be coming back.

The village concept, surroundings and ambiance is unique and special. We stayed at one of the houseboats by the lake, and enjoyed our privacy, sauna, swimming in the lake and the nature. However, service at the resort was quite poor at times, with young newly started staff that were either slow to respond or didn’t manage to solve problems in our accommodation. The receptionists were way too slow, considering the number of people waiting in lines at peak hours, dinner reservations in the Piika restaurants did not hold - we had to wait 20 min for our table at dinner despite the reservation. The only good experience was at the Kota restaurant. Food was not up to the standards of such a premium resort. In fact, the food was very basic. We loved this experience once, but would not pay the premium again due to the service level.

Stayed in the scenery suite two nights together with my fiance. Had heard and read a lot about this place being one of kind and unique. Hands down I can approve its something totally different than anything else and we enjoyed our stay, but there are some minor things that could be improved in order to make it a five star stay. +The staff is very friendly, nice and helpfull +The scenery suite was way more spacious than what we expected + The atmosphere in the restaurants are cozy, unique and warm +The fish restaurant in the boat was a 6/5 experience and we changed the three course "Fire menu" to that one because the menu in the other restaurants were not to our taste + The first impression of the resort you get from the way when entering it with the car is spectacular and the scenic landscapping makes it worth a stay +One activity/nights stay was a nice addition, we had loads of fun with e-fat bikes and at the monastery wine tasting -The routes of walking and biking are the same and the longest one is around 4,5km so they could add or explore more longer routes for the future - The variety of choices at the breakfast were a little insufficuent in our opinion (nothing special or no twists) - The spa was rather small even though there were 6 saunas, but half of them were rather small and not warm enough and the pools were cold and the outside pool was filled with lake water (so no warm outside pool for the winter) - The pizza at the bistro was overpriced and the taste of the pizza was rather regular so nothing special - The scenery suite we got had not been in use for a while so the sewage stinked for the first evening in the toilet, also the glass was cracked and the curtains did not block the whole of the window If you read this far my suggestion is to try and get a scenic suite from the upper area which are newer and where I assume are less worn and torn marks. Also then tha car park does not block our nice lake views in your pictures.

Hello uttnoT, and thank you for your encompassing feedback. Nice to hear that you enjoyed your staying. At the moment there are total 20 kilometers of biking routes. We improve these routes all the time, hopefully we will have even more of these in the future. I will send this feedback also to the restaurant so we can improve these things. Thank you also for the feedback of the spa. We apology these faults during your staying. Once again, thank you for visiting Järvisydän. Welcome back some other time! Tiia Piikatyttö/Järvisydän

1 day off from job after a long time and we got terrible service. First we drove 400km, and we got to recepion after 15:30. We have been told in recepion there that you have to wait because we are not sure if your room is already clean. (Check-in should be 15:00) Then we waited there and after 30min we got keys. Went to our suite, and there was some other family. Went back to recepion, custmer service said that wait, here is other people also. Again waited and then got a new room. Day before i ordered gifts for my family to our room, also these were missing. Went back to recepion again and we have been told that theres nothing to do, if you want you can call our service manager but shes not working today. After this show we couldnt go to spa because it took so long time and kids are allowed until 18. Our day was ruined. Im so surprised that the price is high but service is bad. Not gonna recommend to no-one. Dissapointed!
