My grandson & I visited Santa in Lapland last Christmas, travelling with Canterbury Travel “Idyllic Lapland” tour out of Dublin. What a Fantastic tour......the excitement started at check-in for the Aer Lingus “North Pole Express” flight, the Aer Lingus check in staff were all suitably dressed in festive attire and made each child feel like a VIP!!!! The excitement continued...

Just arrived back from an amazing holiday to Pyha with Crystal. Stayed in the Keromokki 2 log cabin. Nestled among the trees, it was excellently situated close to the ski slopes (2 minute walk). Nearest restaurant, 'Huttu-Hippu' was also a 2 minute walk and served good food. Went there on our first night and saw the Northern Lights. The supermarket...

This was a surprise holiday our first in a cold snowy place. The cabins were lovely clean, well equipped and very warm even in temperatures outside of -26 degrees. Phya itself was a great holiday destination to give us a range of experiences including Husky sledging, reindeer sleigh rides and skudoing. Inghams was a great holiday company they looked after...

We stayed in one of the two 4* cabins in the woods just outside Pyha as part of a package holiday from Inghams. It was a beautiful log cabin which was warm and cosy, complete with wet room and sauna. We flew from Manchester to Kittila and then had a two hour transfer to Pyha. The minibus took us straight...

I am reviewing this and realised I didnt write anything after our trip last year . we travelled with Canterbury on a 2 day Lapland tour . It was busy but so special and authentic .The cabin was fantastic - atmospheric and warm - the log fire incredible .The children loved it and we wished we had stayed longer. The...

We stayed in the log cabins courtesy of canterbury travels. The cabin was clean, cozy, warm and well equipped. Our tour guide gave us some tea, coffee and hot chocolate to get us going, but as we were full board and ate at a restaurant in the ski resort, other than using the kettle, we did not use the facilities...

My partner and I stayed in the 3* cabins in January and booked through inghams. We flew from gatwick which was about 3 hours and the transfer to pyha was 2 hours. The cabin was lovely and warm, it's got to minus 35 for the last couple of day! It is set in the forest and I loved that we...

4* Log Cabin Pyha with Inghams We stayed here at the end of January 2014 with Inghams travelling from Manchester. Our flight was approximately 3hrs 30mins and within 20 minutes of landing at Kittila we were on the small minibus to Pyha. Transfer to Pyha was approximately 2hrs, a very steady drive through the snow covered forests. On our arrival...

Stayed here from 12th to 19th January. Lovely cabin. Inghams have 2 of these cabins which are next door to each other, we were in 2B. They are a short walk from the shops, only about a 5 minute walk. The key is kept in a key safe at the back of the cabin. Really handy when you go out...

Our sauna did not work and neither did some of the other cabins on our tour. Although the cabins were clean and spacious with a good log fire, our main reason for the cabins rather than the hotel was the sauna. We were very dissappointed that this took 1 hour to get luke warm.

“We stayed in Pyha suite which was perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids ( it could easily have slept a 3rd child in the second bedroom).”
