Our room opened onto a central courtyard i which were numerous citrus trees - oranges, lemon, limes etc. The room offered a lovely big bed which was very comfortable, and an eclectic mix of period and traditional style furnishings. The overall effect was charming. Our room was provided with a good sized hand sanitiser as well. The one downside was the walk in wardrobe which was a little lacking in both rails and shelving. Clothing placed on top of the one unit was wet from being dripped on by the hot water tank. We dined on a few occasions in the onsite restaurant and enjoyed some delicious dishes - (including possibly the best garlic prawns I've ever had). Staff in the restaurant were excellent - friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and so welcoming. The dining area was a courtyard under lovely creepers and vines. Very atmospheric. Breakfasts were served on the terrace by the swimming pool - well distanced tables and a great choice of foods. The views from this terrace were stunning. Masks were worn by all staff and any guests who transgressed were quickly reminded in a very pleasant way. We stayed here for 9 nights. Would we stay here again? Absolutely YES. Would we recommend it? Again, absolutely YES.

Beautiful, unique hotel. 30 minutes from the airport, gorgeous room with every amenity, very clean and stylish. Pool area lovely with quality sunbeds. We ate in the restaurant the first night for dinner, very romantic, alfresco, in a charming court yard with over head vines. The food was exceptionally good, delicious fish and the beef was roasted over the outside wooden grill, just perfect. Good wine, reasonably priced. The staff were delightful and nothing was too much trouble. The location is great for woodland walks or hikes. Would highly recommend this hotel, so refreshing to have individuality and quality. I will be back this year when appropriate.

We stayed two nights at this hotel. We arrived late after a late flight and were welcomed in to the hotel. Slept like a log in the big comfy bed. Breakfast was ok. Great coffee. Dinner in the restaurant was lovely. Nice gardens to relax in with swimming pool if you wish to use it. Overall a quiet hotel to relax in.

We stumbled across this finca by accident. It’s a wonderful quiet place to stay with very nice staff, lovely rooms and authentic surroundings. The setting in a former farm with little swimming pool, a museum with old equipment and photos of horses and rural life. It’s very charming and only about 30 mins from Malaga airport. Great value for money and a great find !

We did not think this accommodation was good value for money compared to other places we have stayed in inland Andalusia. It didn’t have a luxury feel. Breakfast was 8€ each and not included which seemed unusual and a little mean as there are no bars to walk to nearby except the hotel one. A bottle of water was provided when we arrived. Our room was a converted stable I think. Very clean but it was not very well sound proofed. Air con worked well but quite noisy to go to sleep and boiler noisy at night. Toiletries are provided but no fridge or safe. No area to sit outside the room which is a shame as entirely possible with the courtyard directly outside although you can sit round the other side of the buildings. The small pool is functional to cool down and in a pleasant garden area but it would be very crowded if the hotel was full. Check in was fine and the hotel manager seemed friendly. Pizarra struck us as an industrial town. Not many tourists at all which isn’t a criticism. Several small bars not on TA probably because people haven’t reviewed them. It is easy to park the car at the station and go to Malaga on the train. 30 mins and about 5 €.
