We were walking around on fine paths, looking towards Jotunheimen mountains and it is ok also in the winter going cross country or downhill. Cosy rooms with TV. Start your travelling towards Jotunheimen from here, using the Peer...More

Hi. I will be travelling to Gala Hogfjellshotel in mid-May. Given that the resort is high in the mountains, I am wondering what kind of weather we can expect. Will we be able to hike? Or cross country ski? Can we expect good road conditions? Or should we play it safe and take the train from Oslo? Since we are English speakers, I am worried that I won't be able to read the road signs. Thanks for your help!

You should travel by car, the roads and the road signs are excellent. Also the locals all speak great English.. Have fun in GALA :)
