Great to re-visit the Mariposa again. It's a joy to travel up to the Hotel for lunch and take in the wonderful scenery on the way. We had soup for starters and chicken for mains. Can't be faulted as it's all simple but well cooked and the service by Tom was excellent as usual. They do a lovely cidre as...

This is now our third year of visiting this area of Spain. We found the Mariposa, a beautiful hotel in Gebas, on our first visit and have now visited every time we come out. The family team who look after all their guests at the Mariposa are always there to help. The tours they run are excellent, from down hill...

We booked this as a break from the norm for 4 adults, 5 teenagers. We all had a fantastic time. Downhill decent was very good, not for everyone but glad we all done it. Quad biking, if you are after speed, this is not for you. This is a gentle trip around the area with a swim in the beautiful...

The most telling thing about this place is just how many of the people you meet there are returning customers. We have been on the adventure days quad biking with friends and family several times over the past 4 years. However our most recent visit was to a live music evening with 4 course dinner and staying overnight in one...

Visited for 1 night in order to try quad biking. The hotel although rated only 1 star is far better than that. The themed rooms are clean with en suite facilities. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Food is basic but well presented and plentyfull. The quad biking experience was...

Very friendly, talkitive, and funny, everything you would need from a guide. We managed to have a swim in the blue lagoon which was incredible in its self.all the staff...

We were there for a one course lunch during an activity day, and lots of us had the York ham, egg and chips. Be warned..... York ham means plastic ham! Thin strips out of a packet. When this was pointed out, we were told that the menu does say York ham. All the other dishes were considerably better. Just don't...

I am so sorry that you considered that the free lunch that comes with the activity was inadequate, perhaps next time choose from the A La carte menu and pay the supplement. We are always happy to put things right if it is within our budget but its difficult to improve on a free meal, so so sorry for the...

We had a family room as there were 3 adults in our party. It was more than we could ever have imagined as it was a suite of rooms and a seating area prior to a large shower room. Every room had a theme and ours was the music suite with real instruments decking the walls. One huge very comfortable...
