We just spent two wonderful weeks at L'Antica Vetreria in Piegaro, Umbria. We rented the Il Nido (the nest) one bedroom apartment. The accommodations are very comfortable, with all the modern conveniences in a centuries - old building with all of the charm of Renaissance Italy. We had a spacious and very comfortable bedroom, a great working kitchen and plenty...

We had the most amazing Italian honeymoon stay at L'Antica Vetreria! Tom & Colleen took wonderful care of us, and we'll forever cherish our experience. During our two-week stay, we got just the right balance of pure relaxation and adventure from exploring nearby Umbrian and Tuscan towns. Tom & Colleen's guided tours were personalized and insightful. Orvieto, Civita di Bagnoregio,...

Sometimes brief encounters can lead to wonderful life adventures that we are forever grateful for. That is my experience when we met Collen and Tom the owners of L’Antica Vetreria who restored a 14th century glass factory into magnificent vacation rental apartments. Collen and Tom went way beyond my expectations to make sure our stay was pure pleasure. We stayed...

We rented the Villa for 3 weeks. It was a vacation back in time. Piegaro is a tiny village with no tourist attractions. By week 3 we felt that we lived in Piegaro. It is centrally located for an endless number of tourist sites. The villa has 5 spacious bedroom each with a king size bed. There is a large...

This charming converted glass factory is located in Piegaro, a small town in Umbria. Residents are friendly and welcoming. Tom and Colleen did a magnificent job of keeping the old stone work including glass ovens and adding all the essential modern conveniences i.e. bathrooms, kitchens, electric, plumbing and wifi. The views from the apartments are spectacular. Our door opened on...

I'm a guidebook writer and over the last years have been exploring Umbria in my guidebook research. After weeks staying in hotels and farmhouses from Citta di Castello to Orvieto to Piediluco I'm glad that friends finally pointed me to L'Antica Vetreria in Piegaro. Colleen and Tom have renovated an old glass factory in this ancient and charming town and...
