We, four adults and four children under 4, spent a lovely and relaxing week at the hotel together. Every need was catered for, and the staff were infinitely patient with us and our four excitable children - two of whom having just learnt to walk basically refused to ever sit down for more than a microsecond. The excellent playroom and outdoor playground were both a blessing and a curse as our kids could barely force 3 mouthfuls of breakfast in before wanting to go play! We had a beautiful room with a gorgeous sea view from the spacious balcony. I loved the rocking chair - I could have sat and gently rocked overlooking this tranquil paradise all week.... The menus were, without fail, excellent and the choice good and varied. As mentioned by others, breakfast is ample but quite basic. I would welcome more pre-prepared fresh fruit (melon, orange, pineapple, grapes, etc.) to balance the temptation of daily cake, bread and croissants.....😬 We really appreciated the flexible half-board system and were able to swap some dinners for lunches to get the little ones to bed earlier some days, as unfortunately eating dinner from 8pm - although perfect for us, was a stretch for the little ones after long days splashing in the pool and walking the length of the beach collecting beautiful shells. We need to work on getting them into an Italian schedule better next visit! 🙂 Also a big thank you to the reception and restaurant teams for organising birthday bubbles (on the house!) and a candle in dessert at very short notice. We found the restaurant staff very professional and kind. In fact, my nearly 4 year old daughter spent the 10 hour trip home asking every 10 minutes if Francesco will still be there 'next time'.... 😂 I don't blame her actually! 😉 Thank you all - we hope to see you again next year!

Good morning from the Hotel Capo Sud. we write to you to thank you for the nice words in the review, we are very happy. About the vote we received (4 dots = insufficient) we are sorry if we did not provide an adequate service and we would like to understand what we were unsatisfactory to improve ourself. If you would like to help in telling us what did not satisfy you and gave an insufficient vote, we would be very grateful! We hope we can have a new opportunity to host you and improve ourselves. Francesco Di Puccio direttore

Location is very special and beautiful. Very well kept, clean, great garden and spectacular view. Rooms modern, clean, bit noisy if you have people above you. Breakfast not abundant but adequate and good quality. Staff helpful and friendly. For us a little too quiet in all. Pebbled Beach could be cleaner, but you walk in 10 minutes to nearby sandy Lacona beach, which we ended up doing every day. Great variety in bars and restaurants, 20€ for 2 deck chairs and an umbrella. Recommendable hotel

Dear erwinw530, thanks for taking the time to write your review and for the positive opinion. We are pleased that you appreciated the beauty of our location just a few steps from Margidore beach and surrounded by a 10 thousand square meter garden. Since 2003 our beach has been awarded by Legambiente and the Italian Touring Club and included in the "Blue Guide" which lists the most beautiful beaches on the Island of Elba, both for tranquility and for cleanliness and services. Our holiday proposal is based on relaxation, forgetting the daily stress that living in the city entails and finding the necessary energy to subsequently face the return to everyday life. For those who enjoy more active holidays you can raggiungiungere the Lacona beach with a 10 minute walk over from our beach and dive among the thousands of tourists who occupy with towels and / or umbrellas (for a fee) the island's largest beach.

I spent a week in this resort and it has been one of the best vacation. I really wanted to get out of the city life and enjoy summer properly. The place is in the middle of the nature, with al the comfort. Beach during the day. Jacuzzi in the evening. Swimming pool for refresh. Silence. Astonishing view. Food always perfect.

Dear Leonardo M the location in which our hotel is immersed is characterized by a great sense of tranquility and harmony with the surrounding nature. Choosing a holiday in our hotel means leaving behind the stress, noise and frenzy that living in the city entails. At the end of your stay you feel regenerated and invigorated, ready to resume your daily chores while still having in mind the blue of the sea, the sound of the waves on the shore and the scents of the vegetation.

I spent one week with my partner in this beautiful hotel surrounded by green and nature. We fell in love with the private beach, which is very quiet compared to the near ones, it’s never too crowded and the water is always crystal-clear. The deckchairs and parasols and the constant availability of lifeguards make your stay on the beach even more pleasant. We booked a half board stay, but we often ended up having lunch and dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, where you can enjoy a wide variety of meat and fish meals, as well as vegetarian ones. Personally, I’m not crazy for fish and I normally have meat only once in a while, but - event though I’m not vegetarian - I really liked the alternatives. My husband, who would exclusively feed on fish if he could, was really enthusiastic about the food. The staff is kind and committed in letting their guests having the best time they can: we certainly did have a good time! I hope to come back in a future trip to Italy!
