I am biased when writing this review. We love the Manzone family, we got married here in 2010 and have come back many times since. The family is so warm and genuine, the rooms have fantastic views facing the Nebbiolo vineyards, the restaurant with Alberto behind the counter tops produces authentic Italian food of great quality. We will continue to... More

This family run agriturismo is in an excellent position for visiting the Langhe region. When planning our trip I was a little unsure about where to stay (which area) and based on a recommendation by a friend we chose Monforte d'Alba. The agriturismo, situated in its own vineyards, makes great wine and has a restaurant that is open on weekends... More

Easy to find just outside Montforte, very lovely people, hospitable and accommodating, and a family run business quite literally. Rooms are simple and appropriately equipped, the beds are a little on the firm side as are the pillows, the showers work and the there is complimentary wifi and air-conditioning.. The reason you should stay is the food. Mostly this is at... More

We arrived at the end of August and were the only guests. In fact, several of the family members were also on vacation, but Carla and Guiseppe made us feel like we had just arrived home. The first night there was a huge rainstorm, but Carla was able to produce a 5 course meal like magic, including their wonderful Barbera... More

This B&B in Monforte d’Alba is situated among the vines near the village. It is a family run enterprise, combining wine growing, wine making and hospitality. 9 rooms in all, large, well equipped and those on the east side have a spectacular view over the fields, in the mornings with the fog that give the Nebbiolo grapes their name. Wi-Fi... More

Our 2-day stay was perfection all around, and we definitely want to come back and do it all again. Food Alberto and his mother cooked up an incredible 8-course meal for us. With every course a highlight, this was easily the best meal either of us had ever had, despite all the culinary delight we enjoy in NYC every day.... More

What a wonderful place! My boyfriend and I spend a couple of nights in a beautiful room with excellent views of the Manzone family's own vineyards. We also enjoyed an excellent dinner accompanied by wine from the family's own winery including introductions to the wines during the evening. Everything is very nice and clean and we felt completely spoiled. Not... More

We stayed in this agriturismo for 2 nights and didn't want to leave. The whole family works there and were just so nice. We talked a lot with Marco and his father, sharing stories for hours. Marco's aunt ran the breakfast superbly with all you can eat. And Alberto the chef, one of the best meals of my life. I... More

Last year, we stayed at another agroturismo, and I drove to Tra Sole e Vigne for a marvelous dinner (which I reviewed last June). Having a terrific wine pairing with dinner at that time and anticipating the same this year, I decided it would be wiser to stay in the Manzone Family’s agriturismo on-site. We stayed two nights, and found... More
