Hotel is old but everything is clean and room is spacious that could comfortably sleep 4/5 people!! Staff are super friendly and helpful and speak great english. Downside is our room is on the front by main roads and railway line so is quite noisy and they tried to help with two sets of double glazed windows. Station is 5min walk so can head off to Pisa if desired. Breakfast is the basic continental so if hardy rugby player...... not enough ;-) many bars and restaurants are closed early as this is off season but beach/harbour is only ten min walk. Beds comfy but a little on the small size for me. I’d recommend for a stop over but nothing more.
so we checked in, the first night the room was not working air conditioning. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel has available parking, which he locked for the night, which I see as an advantage. Minibar in the room was rather funny, refrigerator and her two bottles of water. Breakfast for me was disastrous, however, one assumes that if you pay for three nights 450 euros he gets at least adequate breakfast. We got a person of one croissant and one piece of bread rolls. For the entire breakfast hall a tray of sliced sausages. Although the selection of jams was great, but the man at ninety kilos needs vydatněji breakfast. Well, if one wants the day at ease, and Italian temperament know, it was too much even for me while serving lady harvesting tables made such a racket that I was tempted to go the next day to have breakfast somewhere else. Otherwise, stay proběkl quite well. Next to the hotel is a small park with benches, where you can open a cold beer and just relax. The beach is away about fifteen minutes. The quality of sleep, not much. Directly opposite the train station and the trains go there quite often. From the secondary side is a bar with a terrace and also it's not a quiet place. For me personally, I chose a better place to stay.…
a nightmare... the room stank of cigarette's smoke (curtains and carpets soaked with the smoke)... very noisy at night, even with closed windows you can hear everything happening on the street and nearby rail station... air condition works incredibly loud and it hasn't been cleaned for a longer while... wifi does not work inside the rooms, only available on the terrace
We arrived at Rosignano in the late afternoon after a long drive from France. We liked the look of the Elba hotel and as we were only staying one night we took a chance. The hotel certainly was good enough for a night but we wouldn't have minded staying longer. The Elba has a wonderful staff, and is immaculate. Our room was spacious and airy. The only thing missing was tea and coffee making facilities which would have been nice. As there was no evening meal at this time of year we took the receptionists advice and went to a restaurant on the seafront only a couple of minutes away. Comfortable bed and great shower the next morning put us ready for breakfast. Brilliant! Great selection of Continental breakfast. Staff to look after us, pleasant and very capable. The cost was less than some of the motels we had stayed with in France, and breakfast was included here! We will have no worries returning here on our journey to our home Casa Bianca in Sardinia.…
We stayed here 3 nights. The staff were very attentive and lovely, helped us out with local info and went out of their way to help us around the area. It's very conveniently located near the train station, about 5-10 minute walk to the amazing white sands beach, and equally 5-10 minutes walk to where the restaurants and bars are. I highly recommend it.
