Just arrived back from a 3 night stay in one of the casa's at this location with my wife & daughter. The plus points are that it is in a beautiful location with a private beach and views overlooking Stromboli, which afforded wonderful views at sunset. The beach was clean and safe. However the negatives far out weigh the positives. The...

Excellent resort. Family of 4 ftom Norway spent 2 weeks in this very nice resort. Intimate athmosphere, right on a beautigul beach, majestical position in front o Vulcano Stronboli in the distance. Magic sunset. A fantastic get away holiday for us. Friendly staff, full board restsurant of class, excellent pizzeria and good coffe barista service and bar. Staff arranged trips...

We liked the charm of this hotel, its long sandy beach and its crystal clear water. Some rooms (named "family rooms") are located on a hill, 400m from the sea with a shuttle service, whereas others (named "apartments") are located by the sea. There's a steep way from the hotel to the family rooms. The food quality and diversity in...

Visited this place way back in 2008, having booked direct with them. From the courtesy extended by the reception staff when our arrival way delayed until 02:30 to the friendliness of the staff in the restaurants and bars, it was hard to fault. Location is superb too, with plenty of restaurants within a short drive and a lovely beach. The...

My family stayed here approximately a year ago and I am finally writing my humble review... The Gabbiano was beyond our expectations.. We do not speak Italian but, that was not a problem. The staff (which many are family, since it is family-owned) was more than friendly and accomodating. The grounds and the rooms are beautiful and meticulous. If we...

Villaggio Il Gabbiano is located on one of the most beautiful stretches of coast in Calabria with a gorgeous (slightly pebbly, gritty) white beach. The water is stunningly clear and very safe , also for kids. There is a dive school, motor boat rental and kayak rental. The "village" is a collection of appartments located in nicely built white houses...

Upon arrival I felt this was one of the best places ever visited. Great atmosphere, beautiful scenery and nice villagio. To start with the well earned positive remarks: - Friendly staff, always willing to help, - Good animation team - First night we had a Bilo and the rest of the week we had the 2 bedroom appartment The Bilo...

This was my second time around staying at this beautiful resort. First time was in 2008. We stayed in a room at the bottom of the hill, literally beside the pool, and just steps away from the beach. The only issue I have is, they have put so much effort and money into the resort itself (scenerey, bar, beach etc.)...

This is an amazing place. You will be able to enjoy the comfort of a holiday in a serviced Holiday Village, but without the hassle of the crowd. The beach is beautiful, the sea turqouise, the garden is lusciuos and well tended to, the food is fresh and served under little rod-iron gazebos under the palm-trees, the service is professional...

We were in this beautiful Village by the sea in 2008 and have been dreaming of returning ever since. The staff is excellent, the food very good, the morning cappuccino by the pool sublime. It's right on the sea with a beautiful, long, sandy shoreline with crystal clear water. The pool is heated and saltwater and a good size. They...
