On our walking tour around Dingle this was the most luxurious B&B we stayed in. The room and breakfast absolutely confirmed the B&B's 4-star rating. The Dingle Way directly passes the house and when we arrived here we were welcomed by Phil with coffee and cake and enjoyed it on the terrace with a view over the bay. Just after the B&B a very nice part of the Dingle Way on top of some cliffs starts. We did this part in the afternoon and afterwards Michael picked us up and took us back to the B&B.

Ballydavid is a lovely location, small town, exceptional views, B&B is first class with excellent rooms & breakfast. Hosts are very friendly and helpful, would return. This was the best of the many places we stayed on the Dingle way.

A lovely stay in a lovely location. We had a large room with a bigger shower than we see most places! Phil brought me tea in the sunroom when we arrived. It's a short walk to get dinner and drinks, plus it's right on The Dingle Way hiking trail. Attached to the B&B is a little shop, so we were able to grab some items to put in our pack for the next day's hike, including her delicious scones. Breakfast was perfect, especially the fresh-from-the-oven bread pudding. Phil then gave us a lift to the foot of Mount Brandon and sent us off with much-needed encouragement that we could make the climb. There was a solo hiker staying at the B&B, as well, and I was impressed that Phil wanted to ensure her safety when hiking without an exact itinerary the day we were climbing Mount Brandon.

We spent three delightful nights here in June 2018 and had a wonderful time. The setting is absolutely splendid, with commanding mountain and sea views while a restaurant and pub are both just a minutes walk away. You're also within walking distance of a great cliffside trail and fields full of sheep and other farm animals. Truly genuine, authentic Irish experience in an absolutely breathtaking setting. Would come back, again and again.

Everything about Imeall na Mara is superb. Starting with the lovely warm friendly welcome from Phil and the very welcome cup of tea & coffee cake (with cream!) Our room was lovely and roomy and had everything you could wish for....in particular a truly comfortable bed, extremely welcome after a long day's hike on the Dingle Way. The B&B is very spacious with lovely open views and a very convenient stroll to the local pub where we had a delicious seafood meal. Phil recommended we should aim to eat fairly early in the evening because it gets very busy. Excellent advice!! She also recommended a great way to lessen the mileage and strain for the following days hike to and over Mount Brandon, thank you Phil. It's these small gestures that make you feel you have individual attention

A well-run B&B with a wonderful breakfast and nicely sized rooms with a full views of the harbor. Located near pubs that serve dinner and adjacent to a convenience store to pick up sandwiches and such. A good place to spend the night and have a wonderful breakfast.

My wife and I stayed at Imeall na Mara for two nights during out walking tour around the Dingle Peninsula. We could not have had a better time or have been treated more nicely. The owner and staff were available to pick us up and drive us to and from our hiking locations at our convenience. In addition, Phil drove us to pick up our car, across the peninsula, the night before we had to leave so that we could get an early start in the morning. The room was spacious, spotless and extremely comfortable. We had tea and cake brought to us in the sunroom each day after we finished out hike. The food was spectacular. Can't beat Eggs Benedict to fuel up for a day's hike. With views of the water and a very short walk to a great pub/restaurant and to an awe inspiring cliffside

The host Phil was so welcoming and so funny. We loved her company. She made you feel like you were at home. The room was a good size and had everything you needed. Best part was the shower. Breakfast was delicious and lots of homemade baking.

Imeall na Mara is a very classy B+B - in a class of it's own. The rooms are luxurious, with everything you would ever need, but what really stood out was the quality of the breakfast - whereas most B+B's serve the same options, Imeall na Mara had an eggs benedict special, fresh fruit, etc.. And the pub, just a short walk down the road, TP's is very good, there is a beach nearby as well. No reason to leave!

This was our last B&B while walking the Dingle Way. The day of our arrival was wet, gray and foggy with almost no visibility. When I contacted Philomena in the morning about our arrival she assured us that we could cut our walk short and spend the day at the B&B. We chose to do so, arriving well before check in. Phil could not have been more gracious, inviting us to sit in the sunroom and providing us with coffee and pie, while waiting for our room to be ready. The sunroom is a gorgeous space, cozy even on a wet and dreary day, especially with the comfy furniture and warm blankets. Our room was large and spotlessly clean with many nice touches, including a large bottle of tap water and coffee/tea facilities. The bathroom was the largest of our trip with luxuriously hot
